Literally my girlfriend every time I take her on a trip longer than at least 6 hours. She's always saying "I GOTTA GO TO THE BATHROOM" She's OK though lol
It’s crazy cause you can see in some of the examples how many particles they use. With a surprisingly low amount of particles they then can develop simulations that are crazy impressive.
Honestly, this isn't really "crazy impressive". The low particle count makes it look chunky, almost pulpy in an unnatural way. I don't think I've ever seen water that really looks like water.
I remember how I read in my father's favourite PC-magazine about impossible task of imitation water and other liquids in 3d graphics or it would get too much resources from the machine. It was 2003 I guess. And what we have now... P.S. Cheers from Russia ;)
I once dreamt that I lived in a Macy's and Pogchamp was trying to break into my bedroom but the red guy from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared punched him in the face and saved me from getting robbed
One thing that I find kind of crazy is that even with our "hyper advanced" tech nowadays, nobody has yet been able to create a single realistic looking fluid animation, with CGI, even faces, you can easily fool people, but noone has been able to do it with fluids.
The sheer amount of processing power needed for this is absolute _insanity._ And none of it is rendered in real time, either. Each individual frame takes minutes to render, if not hours. We won't see genuinely detailed real-time fluid rendering anytime within the next decade.
Thanks for telling me just how hard this is, it's not like I never mentioned anything about how long it takes. Just so you're aware, rendering realistic faces with all the movement of the muscles underneath the skin and everything attached to making it not look fake takes just as long as fluid animation.@@TheAbsol7448
@@disgustedlookofthedevil kinda reminds me of thick water. pretty sure it helps people with dysphagia to swallow more easily, but it looks like it has the consistency of jello and also looks really gross to drink.
lol im having the same issue, and what makes things worse is my coy of blender is just broken all the keyboard shortcuts that are meant to do things like allow you to move your camera, they just dont work for me

This is very far from real time (though these sims look pretty rudimentary compared to what you can do in a few hours on a workstation). Also, Nvidia Flex can make some good looking results but devs aren't going to only support Nvidia cards so it never gets used. PhysX was similar although that at least made its way to a few games
