Do you have any idea about why some of my snowflakes dont want to face same direction as me? Every time i change direction of my view, the snowflakes rotate with me! Do you know how to fix it?
In the tutorial I checked Rotation and Dynamic (under rotation) in the Particle System's settings! If you uncheck those, they shouldn't rotate on ya anymore :)
Whaa? Also, be sure to uncheck rotation at the bottom of the particle tab in the 'Render' section - if it's checked. Also, under the Rotation checkbox, if you have any Angular or Initial Velocity, make them 0 before you uncheck the Rotation box. Make sure your Velocity settings are all set to 0 under 'Velocity'. And finally, your brownian... to 0! I think that was all the settings I check in the video to get them to rotate :D
Thanks!! It's not exactly possible to a particle system seamless, since the values we've set - make the animation quite random and unpredictable :/ If you'd like to make a project, you're gonna have to just stick it out! I've rendered projects for 72+ hours straight before. Just depends on how serious you are about the project I suppose :)
@@TutsByKai Love that snow too, I also want my text to dissolve and morph into a new text. It may be too hard on Blender though.. so I may just make a lot of snow blow in front of the camera and switch the text instead of in time for the snow to be cleared back to normal..
