damn , im in blender for 2 weeks now , the geometry nodes part was hell , but i made it ( without automode!! , i did understand the way its works ) thanks for this amazing tutorial !
Thanks! And no I hadn't seen your animation before making this - but yeah we did have a very similar concept with a house abduction. Pixar's short Lifted was in the back of my mind when I first had the idea and while creating the scene - which is why there's a tiny farmhouse in the middle of nowhere with a tree next to it. And a lot of my animations revolve around spectacle, so I decided to have it abduct the whole house instead of a person, and kept one-upping the scale with the light patterns revealing it.
