this is the kind of job i look for when i am on the website, less talking, more workflow and practice, they have to put it on VOD for us to buy it, Leslie is a really good teacher, he has pedagogy, but he speaks 2/3 of the time :)) i think when we talk about mixing, practicing is the main topic.

If her goal was to be the best female mixing engineer... she would be very stupid. I think people should have the choice to do whatever they want to do, and industries should NOT be told how many males and females or blacks or whites they are required to have in their industry... I think that is stupid as well. I'm watching this video, not because she is a female... but because she may have something worthwhile to say that I want to hear. What is "refreshing" is to watch the movie 'Stand By Me', and know without a shadow of a doubt that none of them are going to kiss each other . THAT my friend... is refreshing.

Could have picked a better song which actually has stellar melodic hooks especially when you're talking about blending melodies!! But I can't blame engineers for that. The talent is taking no risks at this point. Hardly a few.

It sounds so awful! completley overcompressed. I cant listern to it when its played really loudly. To much highs evverywhere, no contrast. And its ugly distorted. Please Marcella dont mix music.

If she's got to do all this to the beat what the hell was the beat maker dude doing? Like he didn't think to add compression to his bass and drums or eq the strings as they were making the track?
