I used to be a youth leader and tried something similar to this w/ the choir & was called everything but a Child of God. Needless to say it was disheartening not only to myself, but to the youth. I understand doing everything decent & in order, but God LOVES radical praising! Nothing will be good enough for some folks. I’ve attended church all my life and was baptized at (12) and had a great church experience. I’m a dancer who loves music; God gifted many with musical talents and because I know God wants His praise, I lift my hands 🙌🏾in thanks! I’m being blessed as my children are being blessed we will bounce to this because we are blessed to see our Great Grandmother celebrate her 97th birthday 👵🏽I have (3) Grandsons and my only Granddaughter was just born with healthy lungs. My Husband has been elevated in the church and on his job; Our children all have meaningful jobs and careers. I’m blessed!
Nice to see a packed choir full of youth in the church. Glad the church isn't discouraging them from having fun in the church rather than in the world. Let's focus on the positives and pray about the rest people of God. Don't be so quick to bash the young people and push them out the church. After the seasoned saints are gone, they're the next generation of leaders. Encourage them pray, for them and help guide them in the Lord.

Everyone is saying this is ok but what type of lifestyle did you have when you learned how to do this dance? I was drunk and or high as i learned this dance and my mind was not on JESUS CHRIST. So when you bring this to Church you also bring the demonic spirits that go along with the dance.
Wow! I've seen his video and the service was awesome! Young people, be encouraged in the Lord and praise His Holy name! It is just wonderful to see folk's worshipping and praising God. Go to other countries and watch how they praise God and see how he performs miracles right before you eyes like you have never seen before! We are so busy declaring what we “think” is over the line that we miss the move of God. I asked one of the missionaries why is it miracles like these are not seen I like this in the states. He replied “ y’all have to many resources and knowledge that there is no room for Him to move” I was completely done at that moment.

This is not of God and this is what's wrong with His church today. To the dance floor is not what Christ called his church to do. This is straight out of the world. God allows his people to make righteous judgments if we didn't his church would fall for anything. The devil come to destroy and deceive. You should really study biblical “dancing “ and “musicianship “ . There was never a time that there was someone who disapproved of the style of how and when it was done because the command was not give to or from the them. For everyone on this thread and to Anthony Brown - First off I’m a 60 year old musician and song writer. I’ve read most the post to this video and I am a little shocked by some of the negative comments! Anthony is doing just what God intended for his ministry - lifting up Jesus to draw all men, women and children. I personally love the song...I stay up on my music and can’t wait to present this song to the youth choir! I only have one comment for Anthony: to be spiritually and biblically correct, I would change the words “for the rest of the year” to “for the rest of my years”. Why you might ask? You definitely state “every time you turn around”; not “every time I turn around this year”. Finally, God’s blessings are everlasting....not just for the year....Amen! Keep doing what you do and God’s blessings to your ministry!
We can still give God praise and have a good time and get the word and if this brings people that wouldn't come to church and hear the normally hear the word and this brings them in the door. No.! God's altar is not a dance floor. Satan loves this compromising situation. The church needs to go back to the old landmarks and abolish this modern day feel good worship. We worship Him in spirit and truth not a good time. When you having a good time it's all about you not God. I want to say this.... We are now so holy with no balance. We are living in a new dispensation of time... Following Pastor Jenkins and the ministry for awhile now and I love how God has/is grooming him. He never left God or straying away from God his presentation just change. The Bible says, in 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 were Paul met the people where they are. We as Followers of the Kingdom of Christ forgot how to have clean fun. And all this is clean fun to draw others to the Kingdom of Christ to be saved. The last time I check in with Abba He isn't dead He is Alive and He has a great sense of humor. In 2 Samuel 6:14 David danced out of his clothes. As a child in church the deacons were OK with a piano but not with the drums - every generation has something to add to the glory of God! Looking forward to going mansion hopping with a different music in every one

I now how music moves your spirit....when I came to the church as a young person in the 70's I was amazed at how many Choir Directors were living alternatives lifestyle...to me the church was looking like the world.....but the Word of God does not become void and have not effect....people are people we are all on a journey to be more like Christ ....maybe they are further away from the truth then you but for every person that comes.....I praise God! Because Praise Stops The world from closing in on you. That song may be the difference from robbing somebody and going to a job that is just enough and no extra.

But I doubt it was choreographed and mimicked the world's club dance. To each his own Wyndetta but your criticism of us is just as judgemental as you say about our thoughts.
