My father died this week after a year long battle with cancer. When I think about how strong his faith was, and how much he loved the Lord, I know in my heart that he is claiming him crown, his robe, and rejoicing in heaven to be in the presence of the Creator. Everytime I hear this song I have to thank God for sparing me and my family life when the vehicle I was driving was shot at 15 times by a 15 year old boy who stole my son iPhone and we soon found out he was a gang member. God covered that car with a force field, I literally felt it around that car I was calm I wasnt scare God told me to lean to the right which I literally put my body in front of my son body if anyone was going to be hit Would've rather it be me then my youngest son who was sitting in the front seat, we had to pass this lil boy to get out of those apartment when I tell you the presence of God was so heavy GOD made sure that no windows were hit and every life in that car was covered by the blood of Jesus. So I have to cry everytime I listen to this to tell the story of how we made it. So when the authorities came to my house and the crime scene guy was taking pictures of the car he said who got hit I replied no one then said well who was driving this car I replied I was he said come here let me show you something with the hood of the car up he showed me where one of the bullets went thru the steering wheel and was supposed to hit whomever was driving and me thinking back to when God instructed me to lean to the right saved my life. He said you were lucky nah sweetie luck has nothing to do with it ITS CALLED A BLESSING, FAVOR AND HIS TRAVELING MERCY!!!

Yesterday was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I buried my brother my only sibling. As I was looking for the perfect song for what I planned for his home going I came across this beautiful song coming from a beautiful voice. As played this song all I could was cry I was nervous because I knew this was the last time I would physically see or touch him as I walked down the aisle with a crown in my hand and I placed it upon my king head. I gave him the biggest kiss ever and stated see you later because you made it and I will be there one day soon. Then we closed his casket. That’s right little brother tell the story! It got hard again when it time to put him in the ground. I hugged and rubbed his casket. I kept saying I can’t do this without you. I started singing this song in my head because it puts your heart, soul and mind at ease. Thank you God for the wonderful 41 years we had with him.
