Why do I feel like eliminating people off of their music taste is even more personal than eliminating them off of their looks?

Being totally honest, the format might not be the best for this platform, but massive props to the editors who took the time and effort to find stock music tracks that somewhat resemble the actual songs. That's gotta be a tremendously aggravating process.

I LOVE Jubilee…. but I feel like they need to know this concept doesn’t make much sense for the audience since we can’t hear the songs.

I'm starting a petition for jubilee to make shows like these but to make friends. Like chose a friend based on your music taste.

"Let's do a breakup song" "it's 10 minutes..." We knew, we all knew.

I feel like it would be more interesting if you had people come in with more variety in music taste, for example have someone come in that listens to death metal and the next person listens to taylor swift or whatever

I think it would work better if for each round they have to curate a playlist for a certain mood, and then the person listens to maybe a couple of songs from each playlist and judges based off of that. It seems a bit limited to only be able to show a couple songs, it doesnt rlly show someones diversity in music taste.

Both being into rock and metal music, me and my boyfriend got very connected through music from the very start and it plays huge role in expressing and sharing our feelings and also just enjoying gigs and concerts together. It's always been an important factor to me.

This is tough. As a musician of several genres there’s really no way to tell character or personality from a song because our moods constantly change let’s be honest.

It’s a cool concept but at the same time it also doesn’t make sense if we can’t hear the music! And It is to much effort to listen to every song.

Usually you’re allowed at least a few seconds of the actual song in a RU-vid video it seems. Would be cool to see next time so we can actually hear their actual taste instead of the generic samples. That’s why they all sound the same. I’d love to see this concept expanded on in the future!

As a millennial one thing I appreciate about this new generation is there ability to be open minded with music. I feel our generation was the last one that still had a somewhat stigma against certain genre's and styles based on outdated perspectives. I can't tell you how many time I've heard people say they hated country or metal, or even EDM sometimes. Meanwhile there's so many hidden gems in these genres you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to listen. Anyways though, thanks for the great content!

I appreciate that they at least say what each song when playing the alternate one. I personally went and swapped back and forth where I’d go listen to the song, and then come back and see the reactions. It made it longer but I added some songs to my playlist today 💃

Jubilee you should do a “strangers rate themselves on music taste” Or rather. Like have a very diverse crowd and people… and have some sort of activity thet forces one another to listen to 5 chosen songs by other people

I would love to see one of these where the contestants don’t actually get to talk - strictly choosing just based on whatever it is. I feel like it defeats the concept/mystery of it a little bit when you add in the voice.

Iman was my favourite from the start, when I saw she played Grouplove I knew she had an alternative music taste which is amazing, then she played one of the best breakup songs ever and just to make it even better she listens to rock music...I definitely would have chose her over rap songs anyday
