The compassion of elephants is one of the most beautiful things in this world. Thank you for this lovely story. God bless everyone at the Elephant Park, human & non-human.💙
@Tumbleweed Give me a break. Your Dear Leader lifted the ban on importing elephant "trophies" i.e. MURDERED elephants back into the US because his worthless spawn and their friends get their kicks from murdering elephants. Some role model.
Wow! The quality of this video felt like I was watching a documentary. The music, the editing, the storytelling, it was all superb, and I could listen to Tom Oliver’s voice all day long! Beautiful storytelling.
I consider myself a bit of a ‘tough guy’, but I am not ashamed to admit that this beautiful story of two faithful friends, and the sad passing of Mae Perm, had me tearing up. I am so glad the Jokia found another friend to stand by her. Thanks to the Elephant Park for looking after these magnificent animals.
It’s my birthday today. This is the best present I ever could have gotten to Jokia happy again! Thank you Tom Oliver! Thank you Lek. Thank you Darrick. Thank all of you that make ENP Amazing for these Elles!

I love you Jokia 💕 🐘 Thank you Mae Perm, ☮️ Sri Prae and Jokia for being such beautiful, caring and compassionate creatures. 🤗 I love elephants they’re so awesome.
Made me cry. The Love, the compassion and the intellect these animals show is why we need to protect them. They're just so beautiful to watch. I'm so glad she found a new friend.
Nothing cheers me up like one of your videos. I absolutely adore elephants and they must be protected at all costs! I hope to work with them one day. PS I love the narrator
Vulkan Of Nocturne What a dumb question! I’d kill a poacher or trophy hunter without a doubt. I would not interfere in nature but a giraffe and rhino stand no chance only two animals do and that’s lions and hippos
@@erockstoenescu6171 you'd kill a human to save an animal? Are you insane? What about impoverished families that rely on bushmeat? Do you have no compassion!? You're a monster!
Jokia is one of my many adopted elephants, and although I already knew this story it is just heartbreaking to see her grief. I am just delighted that Sri Prae has become such a good friend to her. Elephants are truly the most remarkable animals. As Dame Daphne Sheldrick once said ‘they have many human characteristics, but none of the nasty ones’.💕🐘💕🐘💕
I am amazed on the compassion of elephants and do not understand how people could treat them so badly and make them suffer. I am so happy that there is a place like Elephant Nature Park with wonderful compassionate loving people who have dedicated their lives to give these wonderful souls a forever home.
Please keep use viewers updated we so love Jokia and her new friend...it tore my hear into a million pieces, when I saw she lost her best friend 💔 😔, I cried and cried and I prayed for her with tears rolling down my face, my prayers still going for her and all of her kind...please, please keep us updated, thank you for all you good, good people do for these gentle beautiful creatures "The Elephants".
I'm not gonna lie, I did shed a few tears watching this video. R.I.P Mae Perm & God bless Jokia and all the elephant herd. I wish them nothing but blessed & happy lives. ❤❤❤
One two three, follow me through the trees so carefully. Elephants are simply wonderful. They move gently with love and speed it up a bit when the dinner bell rings! 🐘🐘🐘🤗🤗🤗
Adoráveis amorosos inteligentes unidos. Angels 🐘🐘❤️🇧🇷💐 saludos desde Brazil ❤️Jokia angel. Amores . Gratidão eterna pelos resgates dos anjihos lindos 🐘🍼
They are very human...well, what is best in being human...I either learn each time I watch one of these videos or am reminded of the human being I seek to be.
This was so heartbreaking to watch!!😥😥 Jokia had a special bond with Mae Perm that many humans never experienced before. 18 years of true friendship. I hope she adjust well to her new herd.
We need more people like you guys in this cruel world.. Thank you Soooooo much for saving these beautiful.. Wonderful innocent Elephants..God will bless you all.. 🐘😭💔❤🙏🙏🙏
At first, despite the title, I was still a bit concerned as I thought the footage at the end was of Jokia and Mae Perm before her passing, but then realized after reading the description that was Jokia's new 'eyes', Sri Prae. Lovely stuff.
That is the saddest story that I have ever heard, I think that because everybody loves elephants so much because they are such innocent creatures with so much intelligence.
It's so embarrassing that I break down when I watch videos like these. I am a grown man and people around me think I have issues. Usually I avoid watching such videos when I have company. I can't recall any trauma in my life that could cause this to happen.
Amazing, Lek and her friends are just beautiful people who are genuine in their love of all animals. They have found a cause which is really their life and have found heaven within the earth,
She is blind, because while she was tortured for the entertainment industry, the “trainers” poked her eyes out as punishment. This was explained in another video. Fortunately she is in this wonderful sanctuary now. Blessings.
Yeah. Her one eye was poked out and another one was shot by slingshot. This was done to keep her away from her calves as she refused to work without attending to them.
I hope that people who see this will stop killing them and other animals, such heartless people that live in a life of luxury and can never get enough of what they already have
