Bomb on desk? Damn you're observant. One thing you (and myself for numerous watches) missed, was the tapestry in his room. Moreover, it was a typical time to utilize a shallow depth of field, but they deliberately chose not to just so it would be clearly visible to the audience. And I still missed it all this time. Wow, I love when they successfully manage to hide some details in plain sight.

Cryogenic suspension is a thing in the fallout universe, IMO that is how Moldaver survived and still looks good. That's what is on level twelve after all. Lucy fails a sneak check. The flame mother thing has nothing to do with vault four, those people at the ceremony were all surface dwellers who survived the nuking of shady sands.
