Blind Reaction! Devin Townsend: "Juno" (unreleased demo)

Devin had said that the title "Juno" was in reference to Canada's Juno Awards, which is pretty much the Canadian Grammys. The song is basically about Devin feeling out of place in the Canadian music scene, and being successful, yet avoided by things like the Juno Awards. Ironically, Devin ended up winning a Juno award a few years later.

... Hello Flowers After Rainfall ... I know his name, saw him often in the youtube mix, certainly too often so I never wanted to listen to his songs ... I am surprised, I thought it will be much harder with growls, screams and things "à la mode" these days as "Lorna Shore" or "Slaughter to Prevail " (so only ^^ one more singer in the genre), but no, its very melodic, nice voice ... Is he canadian ? Because I think I've heard "I am canadian" and as I am french, I am never sure about what I am hearing in the lyrics lol, and canadians singers are often melodic singers (Celine Dion, ha ha ha ...In France she is like a singing (not killing) joke in the metal world ... heu sorry ^^) ! Edit : yes he is, you said it later ... This song is sounding like a poppy - atmospheric - heavy metal song ... Cool for relaxing moments ... Ok nice surprise, and it's' a demo ... But I am sure that this man can growl/scream, his voice is strong and deep enough (a lot of reverb in the voice mix) and the synth make it even a little proggy from the + 2000 years ...
