To this day, I still wish Peter and Felicia had revealed their secret identities to each other. Those two had some great chemistry as Spider-Man and Black Cat that I lowkey wish Peter ended up with Felicia.

I never knew what it meant as a kid, but as an adult, I'm shocked the network allowed Black Cat to refer to Spider-Man's "animal magnetism".

A lot of stuff its crazy to think back then was allowed despite being strict X-men had a shot of a corpse foot laying down dead for days, implication of organs in a box by jack the ripper and topics of evolution and what not, even the creators were surprised they let these things air on TV

I don't think it's an issue. That's pretty mild slang that even kids who don't understand its full meaning understand as simply relating to physical attraction, while in this case the spider/cat themes make a little joke on the "animal" part. That's nothing compared to some of the jokes they got away with in the original version of "Animaniacs."

Man the buff black cat is hot and also the combined shared universe with xmen and doc strange, iron man and Captain america! Also glad Matt and Sara got thier happy ending and even Toomes did too, Silvermane not so much.

it always bugged me that Anna Watson blamed Peter for MJ going missing... SHE WAS AT HOME!!!! AND WAS TAKEN BY THE GOBLIN!!!!! how could he possibly be responsible for any of that? yeah we know he is Spider-man, but she doesnt know.

I remember not liking S4 as much as others, but binge-viewed like this it seems stronger. Kingpin reaches overexposure, and most other villains are recycled (we're up to Round 4 with Dr. Octopus now and he feels weaker every time), but the real emphasis is on the heroes. On Spidey dealing with his grief and all the other emotions that follow the tragedy of Turning Point, Black Cat pulling him out of that darkness and going through her own arc. Hence the season arc name: 'Partners in Danger'. It's also encouraging to see this much interwoven continuity between so many plot threats of the previous 3 seasons. More Captain America/Red Skull stuff to come.

Tbf its a given that previous villains being faced off more often after the first time will not be as much of an issue anymore Spiderman must have gotten used to fighting him at this point, initially the multiple mechanical arms were a problem to him

Round 5 with Doc. Ock, actually (Intro Episode, Insidious Six, Attack on the Hardy Medical Center, Brainwashing Spidey, and here helping Kingpin with Cat and Black Cat). Still, Doc Ock is one of Spidey's most popular villains, so you'd expect him to show up more often than most other villains.

At 30:14 they show Peter and Jameson sitting behind Robbie even though right after that the one sitting behind Robbie is his wife and Jameson is at the stand during the whole scene.

This show's Peter has so much more story and chemistry with Felicia than MJ. Felicia is such a bigger character in the story. And interesting backstory for Black Cat

Someone messed up on the storyboard choreography, because Shocker clearly tossed Flash in a different direction from where Morbius's container was. By the way, this is Shocker's first appearance since the Insidious Six broke up. We haven't seen Rhino or Mysterio since then, either.

soone thing i dont get about the Vampire Queen's plan... she wants to turn all humans into Vampires....ok... so what to they eat then? they feed off Human Blood, if everyone is a Vampire then what to they feed off of? why even make more Vampires? that means less to eat...

Pretty sure they intended to make a spin off from the Amazing Spider-Man franchise. One of many spin offs that never made due to the 2nd movie under performing.

@fynnthefox9078 depends on the version/interpretation. I don't know most examples of her(not even much about this one, because this is my first time watching the show start to finish), but one example is in the insomniac games, it's revealed that Felicia and May have met, meaning that peter and felicia knew who each other were and dated as their civilian selves. And revealed that she *tried* to be good, but they broke up because she simply couldn't stay good. Not because of a lack of love for the peter side of him.
