The higher pitched guy (Tom) is something most people learn to love in time. I hated his voice at first but then i started loving it, He gets deeper pitched over the years tho. Tom got through second puberty after age 30.... If you like the lower vocals by Mark, He was a sick record ''+44 - When Your Heart Stops Beating'', And he makes cool electronic alternative pop in ''Simple Creatures''

This album came out in 1999 and it's the first one with Travis. Thanks for being honest as always 👽

Adam's is about teenage suicide

bruh breezed right past the lyric “He took the seat off his own bike because the way that it felt” Like that type of stuff is what makes folk blink. It’s that humor that made them amazing to see in concert. I hated enema of the state when it came out because I thought they “sold out”, but man, it’s a masterpiece album

It’s sold at least 20 million this is the one that put them on the map. I would HIGHLY suggest their self titled album record. Was the last one before they broke up for 8 or so years. It’s a much more mature album

The appeal of them when they came out as a band was to the high school aged people. Tom being whiny is much of what chicks digged back then. We punky/ Emo-ish chicks (and dudes and others, no discrimination) loved that a guy FELT anything. Mark’s appeal was exactly what you called out in the vid. But all 3 (Travis is the drummer and a tatted up dude who is an amazing drummer) had easy appeal in their own ways to us all as young, emotional, and hormonal growing people. I loved the review. This is my favorite album because it’s exactly what you, as an adult, don’t really get as easily. It’s a lot of teen angst. It was great upon original release and, to me now, wonderfully nostalgic.

Gotta listen to neighborhoods album by blink if you want slower stuff that has more of a deeper meaning thats a good album they changed their pop punk sound on it for sure

Haha, their names aren’t Adam and Gary. Tom sang in most of the songs and Mark got smaller parts but I love ‘em both. Adam’s Song is definitely a favorite. 👽

They were younger then for sure as well. I always liked dude ranch personally lol though I liked this one well enough.

👽Never say never, right? Just like what you're doing with these albums. You give them a chance and you give your honest opinion. I guess punk is not your cup of coffee and it's okay. I can understand people who gets annoyed with Tom's voice. I dont even understand why I'm not bothered with his nasal voice lol

I think you might really like NINE if you decide to do another blink album. Tom left the band so you would only hear Mark singing along with the new member, Matt. They both have calmer voices

Mark Hoppus (low voice singer) did an album with him the solo singer. Band was called +44 is called when your heart stops beating. Worth a listen 👌🏻 Travis Barker played drums on the album too.

The fast drums are a songwriter of punk rock. Punk is supposed to, atleast usually, annoying/aggressive/unapologetic/snotty . You may not be super into punk. When I First heard this album I didn’t really like it . It was annoying and loud . Then I kept listening and it grew on me . Punk is my favorite genre , this album made me realize I was a guitarist .

The deep voice guy is the bass player, the high voice guy is the guitar player. And there's the drummer. It's amazing how they made such a massive sound with just 3 people
