I will always love Mark and Tom and their influence on my life is unshakeable, but what a low key crime they pushed Scott out of the band only to struggle with an even worse substance issue.
Didn't know that term Emo was around in the 90's. I used to call it indy rock. I heard of jimmy eat world for the longest time but didn't hear their music until bleed america dropped in 2001 (pre-9/11).
It was the Melodic Hardcore kids who knew about it...Indie kids after that era were into Dino Jr n GBV...Emo kids liked the music that came out from the underground scene of bands like Dag Nasty and Sunny Day Real Estate...
People don’t realize they were still going to blow up whether Scott or Travis was the drummer. They were insanely marketable and this proves it, they were making mtv, Conan O’Brien all these appearances before Travis was even in the band.
You’re delusional. They would never have been even close to as big and it’s not even debatable. Travis is a way better drummer and songwriter, as well as his looks are way better. Wouldn’t have been 1/10th as big if Scott stayed
@@stockquarrel yea, you don’t understand how this works. It’s ok, you can continue to be wrong. You’re a complete fool if you believe they would have had the same career without Travis, it’s not even debatable to anyone with 1/4 of a brain
