Best thing I’ve ever heard. I’ve been listening to this since 6th grade when I’m my music teacher showed it to us. I cried during it. The next morning I went straight into the library just to use the computer and listen to this. Over and over. And I continued to do that for years. Never got the chance to say thank you!
Oh my gosh. Amazing job. I love everything about this recording. Great tone, very clear diction and incredible sound. The balance is so unreal. Seriously, I applaud for you. I wish I was a singer like you. Had a range and looked good doing it :) Awesome job, Matt.
Grazie alle tue preziose ricerche storiche ho imparato a conoscere Venezia Dimostri grandissimo impegno fatto con passione ! Complimenti Maestro ! Sei tra i pochi grandi di questa epoca !
Hi Spencer! I'm a member of next years' Minnesota All-State Choir! Some tips I'd give you: prepare prepare prepare, hydrate well before your audition, sleep, practice sight reading/your solo enough so you're comfortable. You can do it!
My school is putting on "Fly to Paradise" in our choir section and I just wanna say that it's amazing that you can hit bass and tenor notes while also hitting soprano and alto notes! Purely astonishing! 🎶
I had decided not to make a video for VC4 a couple weeks ago - too much effort, didn't feel like putting a video together. Then a couple days ago I watched this video. It was one of those jaw-drop moments - one of those goosebump-ridden "This is amazing, what the hell am I doing?" moments. I changed my mind, and I've spent all day struggling with technological issues, but I've finally uploaded my video. Thank you so much! You're the reason I decided to become a part of this.
Oh My God--I did not abbreviate that as I mean it...This is incredibly beautiful. His soprano is better than mine, and I am a girl, first soprano fish!!
That's it. I officially wish I were a man so I could have LOW (and high) notes, like you! Holy freakin crap... There are no words, Matt :) I have no words... *sigh*
This is just outstanding! I remember my All-State conductor,Matthew Oltman, always talking about Chanticleer. He once sang with Chanticleer and was outstanding. Listening to you sing this reminds me of him a bit. Your range is incredible and I hope my passion toward music gets me closer to what you can do! Joshua Habermann, conductor of the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, has also surprisingly been my conductor in past Region concerts. I hope one day my dreams will come true, just like they did to you(:
