So finally it's time for a new ambient mix after quite some time :D Ambient is often my genre of choice when I feel like taking time off and really want to calm down, just letting the gentle sounds fill my ears. For this mix I went with both my all time favorite ambient tracks and some great new finds, so sit back and enjoy the sounds of bliss :)

Life for me has been very hard, from the day I was born I was alone. I have so many worries, so much hatred directed towards me day in and day out. But then I discovered this, I shut my eyes and listen to the music entering my ears through my headphones, and suddenly... Peace, I am home, I am no longer alone. Normally I listen to punk, classic rock or metal, but sometimes I just have to listen to some chillstep or ambient music! The contrast is so amazing. It's important to enrich all of your emotions, not just one side of you. Free your emotions, have an open mind, and the universe lies in your hands! :)

same, grew up with rap/hip-hop and that will always be in my veins, but i discovered metal about half a year ago and now this... i believe having a broad musical taste (or at least appreciation for different kinds of music) is a good thing

I'm really glad to hear you found metal, because it's rare for someone to develop an interest in it later in life. Most metalheads where I'm from grew up with it and grew out of it (myself included, to a degree). Metal taps into a feral part of you and can unleash an incredible energy if you let it.

I used to listen to this in our warehouse in the army. I went to the darkest room where we had a bed and turned the light off and kept quite hoping no one will find me. I was escaping the silly tasks they gave us, I felt so alone and so scared. Now I left the army, not knowing what my plan is. I always write here hoping someone will listen, thinking if my comment actually means something or am I wasting space and my time. I want to think that I am important and that people will read this but I don't know if they will, if you will. I am alone, no friends for almost 2 years, I left school and the army, no routine, no energy, depression, often think what to do. I mean society has the same problem- we all are deeply sad and don't want to work to live. I want to try and find a solution to that, what if we find a way to live without working jobs that we don't like? we all are in this together and if we are- we can find a solution because we run this world. So, how do we do what we love and survive without money, or get money the way we love? I honestly don't care about this question, but I am being 'forced' to care because I am an "adult" now. I think often of opening a RU-vid channel, but I think that RU-vid is a world of it self, that we get sucked into, "unreal", and I do not want to support getting sucked in even more. What about photography, I think the exact same about, and even this comment.

not sure if you'll read this but i read what you had to say and I'm listening. I'm here. and i agree 100%. you have two ways of looking at it though. the world and society has gone very downhill, and you sound like a sensitive soul. but our world has not yet ran out of time, and there are still good people and beautiful amazing experiences for Anyone who has the time. when i get sad about how shitty this life is i look up videos on RU-vid of people rescuing abused and abandoned animals, or people donating generous amounts of money to homless people. 1000 years from now i believe there will be no more light, no more good because of the way societys headed, but instead of wishing you lived in a different era be thankful for this one. there is still sunlight and stars in the sky, there is still breathable air, and kind people. you just have to search. get in touch with your inner person. exit your brain for a while and live in your body. if you want inspiration you should really check out this movie on Netflix called i am not your guru. it changed my entire life and taught me how to cope with the life I've been dealt and not only that but how to enjoy it. i hope you get to feeling better

6 months late but I have my cousin who went through the same experiences as you. He is striving and pushing to better himself and is even in School right now. Back before this more enlightened time he had many suicidal thoughts to the point where he bought a lock on his gun and held it far away from himself. But the difference was he had friends and family to help. I understand you're alone but please give it more time and push to make more friends as weird and hard as that is. Being risky is rewarding and can lead to sad or beautiful opportunities. You can do it, and I believe you can find your own mount of bless!

We all feel like that. In 100 years there's a good chance we will all be dead. My suggestion is to make an effort to find meaning in this life. Create your own. God made you on purpose. You're not an accident or meaningless. You are alive! Fight! Keep going! Don't quit yet. Tomorrow could be the day it all turns around. I love you dude. Good luck.

Im not sure how this is gonna come out but i hope someone can relate. This kind of music, and specific kind of lighting and relaxation brings images to my head that are not my memories. Places that feel like home but never been to, places i feel peace and transcendence but never physically have been to. Like this picture, it takes me to a place where i cant describe how things look, but i feel that everything is beautiful and peaceful there. This compilation makes me feel like home, while digging up subconcious images of another world. (im not on any kind of drugs i swear xD)

I probably felt the complete opposite to this music compared to everyone else. This playlist really speaks out to me in terms of loneliness. I spend a lot of time with myself. Most of the time because I enjoy it, but other times because I travel alone. I've been experiencing a whole other side to loneliness for 2 years now. Truth is you don't know loneliness until you've lost everything. Most times I just try to ignore this. I laugh it off and distract myself with other things. I'm doing just fine I think. By the way, the picture you chose for this mix is perfect!!

Read some Classic Stoic Philosophy that should help all of you to feel a bit better and take back Control over your Emotions. Epictetus. Seneca and Marcus Aurelius are some Classics Massimo Pigliucci is a contemporary Philosopher in his Books he condensed the knowledge itno some good short insights just as Ryan Holding. all the best to you all.

A while ago I was uncontrollably using alcohol and cocaine, I always felt alone after using it, and I wanted to take my own life, I distanced myself from my family, I was indifferent to the them... anyway, my insecurity was in full swing, after several problems resulting from use, an internal and deep awakening began that I didn't know where it came from, I decided to hospitalize myself, psychology helped me a lot in hospitalization, I practiced self-knowledge, good will and honesty, I practice this until today in recovery, anyway... what I want to express is... that due to some internal problems that were not resolved, I ended up in a rehabilitation program that made me suffer at first, but with the recognition of my weaknesses and insecurities I'm on a deep and internal journey towards fullness and love and I want to thank all the musicians who participated in this work it inspires me deeply and strengthens my recovery. JUST FOR TODAY

My daughter fell asleep to this at the 13 minute mark. This is the same time my son would fall asleep to it too. I’ll fall asleep at the 17 minute mark cuddling them. Perfect music, been listening to it since it came out.

Seeing your parents face for the first time smile at you for something beautiful they created crying over happiness, your best friends laugh the smile on their faces when they see you, your first love the way she looks deep in your soul the way you look deep in her soul, your first baby is being born its crying your crying, your baby is growing your getting older, your children is getting older, you see your grandchildren for the first time, you have lived long, happy,sad,angry,wise... you close your eyes you're entering the after life, its dark you cant speak you can only hear your loved ones crying over you talking about how much they miss you, your seeing earth and your zooming away from it getting smaller and smaller, totally silenced.. and then black. This soundtrack reminds me of that dream i used to have when i was 6 years old and i find it very nostalgic while listening to this perfect track :)

I feel like ambient music is representative of life. We can't all experience what it has to offer within our limited lifetimes, but you should still try to make the most out of it. This is why I feel bad for young suicide victims. A lot of them probably didn't get a chance to hear music like this : (

The second song really hits home for me. Last year I moved across the country to pursue my career in an industry I don’t even enjoy, leaving behind my closest group of friends of 20+ years. We grew up together, played sports together, went to college together, lived in the same city even after college. Things were great, we were happy. But i guess it’s time to grow up and become an adult. As I sit here alone on a quiet Sunday night getting ready for another business trip tomorrow all I can hear is the singer repeating “All we had is gone...”

Who else feels the feeling of being at peace yet living your last moments. Everytime I hear music like this I feel as if I'm at home yet I'm lost because the imagery in my head is somewhere I've never been but the scenery is so beautiful and heavenly and makes me feel at home. It gives me a nostalgic feeling, like I feel happy and sad at the same time. In a way it makes me feel and understand life more.

This is by far one of my favourite ambient mixes. The transitions are pretty smooth and not to slow and the wind effect is amazing around the halfway point. The creator did a great job.
