Thanks again for the video. I couldn't have done this without it. I just turned my screw out 1 rotation. I went from 680 to consistent 730 + only did 16 rounds im sure it will do an occasional 750. My auto still works. I am very pleased now with the power.
@@airpower7692 cool! I was thinking of lubing the bearing/spiny bit in the mag with a dry lubricant like for rv’s and/or making sure there weren’t burs from manufacturing.
Yo Roy. Good video. A while ago I tuned the blitz the same way your doing. Its worth getting the extra long allen wrench pack for that adjustment. I think I got mine from Lows. Before hatsan returned my gun from repair, I had the older hammer spring screw that did not have the flat head screw in the middle of it. I was told by hatsan reps that the middle flat head screw was an upgrade to keep the hammer spring more stable. Anyway, with the long allen wrench and with the flat head middle screw removed and hammer decocked, I was able to have the size 5 allen wrench in the hammer and the size 2 allen wrench in the hammer adjustment lock screw at the same time. I would loosen the hammer adjustment lock screw then make may hammer adjustment then quickly tighten the hammer adjustment lock screw. And this would be as quick as 10 seconds. Its too damn easy. Your gonna love it when you try it.
@@fidellopez528 unfortunately you can't adjust the trigger on the blitz but it dose get better the more you use it. this video is for power adjustment maybe get 3 to 4 more fpe
I cant wait to get mine past an avg of 670 its down to after i get whats left of that lame grease out.n new moly in.. im doing baseline Hates pellets No probs withmy gun at all 200 pellets or so . Kinda nernous...
Nice video! For future reference, you can uncock most if not all pcps by pointing the gun in a safe direction, holding the hammer completely back, squeezing the trigger, and slowly letting the hammer move forward. I should honestly make a video on that as it does go against our safety instincts lol
@@airpower7692 I just used the above method to make an educational video on the topic. I'll probably upload tomorrow. One thing that may be throwing people off is you seem to not be able to pull the bolt completely back and do this method. I pulled it back about 3/4 of the way, hold, pull and hold the trigger (in a safe direction), then slowly release the bolt forward. I hear a click when done properly.
Also, just for the less mechanically savvy viewers, you can simply screw the back screw plate the spring sits on further in to the gun to also further increase the power by compressing the spring.
Interesting. My gen 2 has the set screw in the middle and not angled like yours and the gen 1 style. Also, I don't have the slotted screw in mine-either it's missing or Hatsan is not using it anymore?
My blitz weird I cant even back that 2.5 screw to get that back plate off it just gets to a stop an I dont wanna force it as it feels tight, So I dont know think il send er back.
No you don't screw this bottle you take out set screws and remove the whole block which you could do but just takes as much time and then could damage those orings then would have to replace those this is just much simpler
@@KERNFUZED I'm not sure what you mean by space behind the spring what I have found is best I put the hammer spring adjustment screw in were the threads are halfway into the hole were the set screw holds it tight then I put the set screw back in but it will wear your hammer spring out pretty quickly by keeping that much tension on it
How do you know weather you wanna get more power does the screw just pop out if you go too much counterclockwise? does it just stop, How do you know weather you did too much or too little.
Yes this screw will come out and i wouldn't do more than 4 full turns cause you'll know cause you'll not be able to rack the bolt back and lock it open it'll be too tight, you really don't want it real right anyway cause it's going to mess you hammer spring up and you'll need to order a new one like i did
@@airpower7692 Ohh man I wish there was a way to know without a darn chronograph thing costs like 150 dollars honestly need to get one there is no way to know what im at regarding the foot pounds besides the penetration tests I can do an guesstimate.
@@airpower7692 wait so can you turn the screw all the way in an does it stop like thats the starting position right? An from there I should do no more than 4 turns counterclockwise
@@marksman349 i ordered a new hammer and hammer spring and got lucky the new hammer is a little thicker making it heavier in getting 60fpe with the hammer spring screw put in and just getting past the set screw hole then i put that set screw back in cause of you take it out you can see the threads of you adjustment screw in that little hole
@@airpower7692 Damn thats sounds good 60 fpe. I just bought the larger mags for the blitz cant wait till its here I think il clean bore an test power an see if im happy with it or if I need more. I wanna use full auto!!
I dun broke my blitz, Last night I decocked it by pulling bolt back 70% an pressed trigger heard a click pressed trigger no fire so it was decocked I though neat didnt know I could do that, Just saw a random youtube video on how to decock a blitz, Now took it out today to shoot infront of some folks who aint seen full auto an bam it fails after a burst of 4 shots, Sounds like the gun has something loose inside bouncing around when I shake it. I hope I can get this fixed my self I dont want to send the gun back all that hassle, Im still within 60 days of Pyramid air money back guarantee though until like September 14th.
@@airpower7692 il take a look at it someone said its a valve pin broke an I just gotta change it, Dont try an decock the hatsan blitz like me its not means to be decocked, I pulled bolt back 50% or so an pulled trigger heard a click an the gun was decocked no fire when I pulled trigger, Next day I take it out an shoots 4 shots an fails an it just makes that click sound when I pull the trigger.
@@marksman349 I decock mine after every use and it's more like 65% not 50% on mine you are also probably going to have to apply some heat to get that valve loose off of that bottle
I think il get the 25 over the 30 as it gets around the same energy when tuned macabspeed got 52 fpe with a 25 cal blitz so no reason to go with larger diameter when power is the same in fact 25 is more deadly than 30 at the same FPE same projectile baker airguns did a test.
To decock the hatsan blitz... without dropping the hammer like that, withou dry firing it... Pull the bolt to the back and hold it right before the back slot that will "recock" it... Hold it there with a firm grip and pull the trigger. The bolt and hammer will get sprung forward.... HOLD ON TO IT! .. hold it back and gently guide the bolt foward. That decocks it without actually dry firing it.
@@icehotcap yeah that could be several things i really don't know where to tell you to start but the switch then look at the one behind the trigger under the stock then there's the trigger assumedly itself
