The check can be blocked with Bc3. But good question, I should have considered this possibility during the game.

Ah yeah, I just forgot that the bishop does not get overloaded since it atacks the queen. I just got so focused on the potential overload problem. It just looks like there could be tactics there but perhaps its all good. It looks tricky tho. If Bc3 perhaps Qb6 and f3 looks weak, but perhaps e3 and all is defended.
