The Riptides are having a comeback story after not being able to win one game in 2022, which was their inaugural season as a franchise. Riptides captain Hudson Borgmeyer took advantage of the #1 pick this year and selected the #2 Ranked Blitzball Player in the world, Trent Severino. The Mustangs are a perfect 7-0 this year and are looking to complete an undefeated season. Mustangs captain Sammy Reazer, the #3 Ranked Player in the world, is the MVP frontrunner and has his team in the driver’s seat for their first-ever World Series title. After falling short in the semi-finals last year, the ‘Stangs are looking to finally overcome what they ultimately desire. The MVP has the supporting cast to hoist the trophy too; Tyler Davis is a great two-way player, and Matthew Zuppardi and Lucas Whitworth have been showing signs of improvement at the plate throughout the season.
