I just... I just can’t. Well what originally started as a nice little review descended into madness. What to see why I deem this one of my biggest fails as a toy collector.
Nice review Billy! I screamed “NOOOOO!” when you made the decision to transform the figure. It already looked very wobbly and fragile from the get go and I’m surprised he didn’t arrive broken in the box.
nice review, mate! As for the loose joints, steal that clear nail polish from your girl and add some of it onto the ball joint and let it cure. This adds more volume to the joint, so it should hold the pose of the arm. Cheers !
The new Zeta Toys version is superior to their old Mold when they sold it to Mechanical Alliance. Zeta Toys have made a smart move on their market competition for this item.
I have one and i like it. The transformation is very complex and needs about 15 minutes if you know how. the arms are ard to fold up with the instructions. I always try to transform without the instructions, even if there is somtimes a risk to break something. Both, the robot and the jet mode look extremly great. The only problems are the loose parts on the legs in the robot mode and the balance in jet mode is very coriouse. if it stands on the landing gear, it nearli tips over to the back, but it works for display. I maybe order the Zeta Toys version, too. The rockets in the arms of the Zeta are a cool option and the transformation is maybe a bit easier, but i think the look of the mechanical alliance one is better. The paint job is great. It is clearly no toy for kids.
Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one who took over 8 hours to get the f#cking thing Transformed. It's possible though. It snaps together in plane mode really well, and very snugly. Those panels behind the cockpit are key, and nobody bloody shows them... Anyway, keep at it. It's bloody amazing
I understand the frustration transforming this figure. If you can understand Chinese, then go to the review made by Stark Figure. He comment that if anyone purchase this figure. The first thing you do is take out the instruction manual from the box and rip it apart because the 108 steps transformation makes no sense. =D You are better off following other people transforming the figure on youtube.
Your review was edited well. I can't really say it was a good review but you did do a good job doing what you did. This kind of reminded me of that one article where the reporter wrote a piece about going to a gun range and using a gun for the first time ever. They did no research about the use of the gun didn't know what any of the names of the parts were was holding it wrong pretty much looked very ill prepared for what they were trying to accomplish and then wrote a very bad article because they didn't do any research. This feels like the same thing. Please do not purchase high end transformers without doing lots of research. the zeta toys version has a more complex transformation than this even though it results in an uglier robot that is less accurate than this. The only thing that sucks is the weathering which I didn't like and removed on my copy anyway. After you take it off paint job is awesome and it's very hard to scratch. I implore you to please do research before you buy another transformable transformer or it might be another review like this where you are frustrated.
Thanks robert, when I mention epic fail in the thumbnail I definitely mean it was an epic fail on my end and I’m glad I at least tried to transform it as it was eye opening as to how much design and engineering goes into these things. Thanks for watching!
I've never... Given away a transformer until I stumbled upon this figure... It was just terrible... Incrediblely loose joints even with joint fix, kept coming apart, an annoying transformation... Literally feel like a fool for buying this... Should've went with the zeta
The zeta toys one has a longer neck which looks weird and the wings in robot mode dont look right, hes also missing the usaf logos. The jet mode for the MA is more clean than the zeta version too
@@debatenothing5676 Zeta Toys has better tabbed in transformation parts than Mechanical Alliance. That is one of the biggest role to have a perfect Transformer figure.
@@debatenothing5676 I feel bad for you since you wasted your money on the old version of Zeta Toys Mold (MA). The New version of Zeta Toys is much bigger and even the alt mode, it's got a lot more missiles than MA + the arms missile + wings has been approved. You should've waited a little longer, man.
