So me (Jay) and Tim are joining forces, the plan is to do batreps and news (as normal). hence the new name. We will work a little on the shakiness of the camera (actually me not holding it still, Tim has hands like a rock it seems). But yeah, we will be doing semi frequent batreps - we are only aiming for like one a month or so, just to see how we get on.
Tim's responsible for the table and is a great painter but too modest to say! We do plan to do more, probably not like a shed ton, we will be taking out time! Thanks :)
@ 41:07 HaHA!! That's the spirit! Nice game, fellas - great table BTW! It's nice to see Echo Base Defenders on holiday in warmer climes. More reports, they are appreciated!
@@TabletopOddity Honestly, I mostly listened to it and was able to keep up with what was going on, so that's a win on its own! Sorry the dice didn't go in your favour but look forward to the rematch! More Shore Troopers you say?
I just checked the rules, and the same unit can't use 2 standby tokens at the same time, which I don't think we did. But the army could spend 1 of every unit if possible. I think from my first reading.
It's a fair question, and I'm actually not sure, the rules says, within height 1, I can't measure now obviously but my instinct says thatthe ship was less than a range 1 in eight, so possibly just legal.
Hi, I just checked in case I got it correct. Rules for detachment say the detachment unit must be deployed within speed 1 and height 1. That's what I thought it was and the u-wing is less than height 1 and was within speed 1 so the deployment was legal but thanks for keeping me honest
Hey, great game. I don't believe that speeder bikes can take standby tokens. Only troopers and ground vehicles. And at 27:55ish, snow troopers should have rolled red dice instead of white on defense. Not that it mattered, but I don't think the MKII was allowed to climb down from the ridge in minute 33 because the height was greater than a standard mini.
The first two are my bad, I didn't think about the standby! And rolling the wrong dice is just me being dumbo. The climbing we sort of agreed it before hand so maybe we didn't follow guidelines but we both knew and agreed before we played
