A very large storm system worked its way from Louisiana all the way to Minnesota and brought with it the perfect combination of warm air and moisture to make for one heck of a blizzard. We had 3 days of rain and snow and the aftermath was pretty crazy. Many towns near us lost power for over 3 days and counting for some. The rain and snow stuck to trees causing them to snap and sound like a gunshot. We were left with over a foot of snow to work around and the loss of power for a day. It's being called the Minnesota Blue Blizzard of 2022. We luckily came through pretty unscathed, but it's definitely one for the record books.
