Hey Chuck, You sure are a die hard fan of shooting!!! Can't believe you are out there shooting in a blizzard. Thanks again for another great. Stay Safe. Be Well. GOD BLESS
Hey Chuck, here about 5 hours ago, UPS delivered my new HW30S from Airguns of Arizona. You had spoke so highly of it, about 4 weeks ago I put my $25.00 deposit with AoA, and on Monday, they got a new shipment of HW30s and others for those who ordered. Seems AoA had pulled a few patches through the bore, and ran 10 pellets through the chronometer and printed the results, and repacked the box for shipping. Despite only beginning the break-in process, this HW30s truly is capable of alarming accuracy, even with my vintage early 1980's USMC/0311 eyeballs and iron sights. Thank you for recommending the HW30! Semper Fi from Texas!
@@RichardCooper-p7b In speaking with AOA staff on phone, I understand that they on occasion, receive up to and over 1,000 airguns from Weihrauch in a single shipment. Sounds like AOA receives them in big 40 foot shipping containers. By the time AOA fills the back orders for these same rifles, they are sold out. Seems to me, because of the high demand, and slow shipping times, AOA may never have on their shelves, the airgun you are looking for. For my purchase, I payed the $25.00 down payment on my HW30, and about 10 days later, a shipment arrived. Got my rifle 2 days later.
You are tuffer than me when it comes to being out in the cold ! Its been wet and windy here so my shooting is confined to watching videos! My old bone dont like the cold , i dont know how i worked as a bricklayer for all those years, cheers for now stay safe. I must hone my shooting skills as the way its going in this country a deterrent may be required! 😮
Haven’t even watched your whole video yet but love your enthusiasm on Air Rifles, it gets me blood pumping when i was once a kid, thanks so much , keep’m coming our friend
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 You too Chuck! Thanks for your kind words. I haven't been posting much for those same reasons. The last time I tried to upload a a simple video of a grouping, my video kept on been taken down... Getting tired of this... 😩
Great Shooting Chuck, Especially in that weather. I got out and shot late afternoon. Thought I was going to freeze to death this evening. It clouded up before dark and got down to 60 degrees :)!! Third time trying to comment. Hope it stays.
I have a Hawke 3-9 x 50 AO Mildot on my .22 Webley Vulcan springer, but my "WULF" 2-7 x 32 AO Mildot is also very good (I have that on the CP2) Nice Glass, even through the yellow tinted, elasticated lens covers & under £40 UK. (I won it on a YT Giveaway) It's in MRAD, not MOA but easy to get used to that !!
Great video Chuck... Yeh it's freezing over here to . Good shooting though.. and you cant feel your fingers to even load the gun 🤣🤣🤣 I got the Wulf scope 7-5 x 25 x44 scope scope... I paid it off .. 3 installments. Great scope .. I got paid off my job but I can put a freezer on top of your house and higher, and 3 houses high within centimeters 🤣🤣 I still dunno how I can do that 🫣🫣🫣❤️ love you videos.. much love from Wild Johnny... Well you named me that.. J x
Thank you Wild Johnny.😃👍So good to hear from you! They promise spring is right around the corner lol.😂👍 It will be so nice to shoot and feel my fingers 🤌 again lol.
Thank you David. This is the second time of me responding back to you. I wonder who else is being blocked, trying to comment on my video. I can't wait for a little warmer temperatures.😃👍
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 yeah, i know what you mean. I tried to comment with my boys account and could only give you a thumbs up. They want to see you shoot in whiteout conditions 😆
thx f your upload. Respectfully disagree about the required energy for squrrel control. North East grey are often big and hardy ,require lots more on target energy if body shot . Perhaps a perfect head shot at say 20 yards will kill a squrrel but how often is that ? So I would say minimum 15 ft lbs inside 30 yards but better 0.22 or 0.25 and 25ft lbs plus for inside 35 -40 yards. Seen way too many big eastern squrrels injured w low powered stuff .
hey brother i hav some comments & a question. 1st CPHPs BABY.😁 2cd-i use an eraser from a #2 pencil to help seat tight fitting pell's 3rd-my .22 34p to6 was getting 690fps w/CPHPs when the spring was good which is 15fpe so apparently thats what the gun energy is. now for my question. Iheard if you shoot a break barrel metal springer in cold weather it will damage the spring. is that not the case with the custum spring ur using. thanx. also great vid still cant believe the accuracy in the wind.
Thank you so much Adam for your comment's and question!😃👍 The airgun industry has been lying about the gas ram is not affected by cold 🥶 weather like a steel coiled spring is affected. That is so far from the truth, it is actually the opposite. With a gas piston, the colder it is, the more dramatically the FPS and energy will be affected, compared to a steel coiled spring. I have never had a problem shooting in cold 🥶🌬️ conditions with my spring piston rifle's.😃👍
i wish i'd known this years ago. bought athe umarex octane which didnt last long before the piston broke and the got the gamo raptor which didnt last 5000 pells before that broke. both were bought to use in cold weather only. i'll stick with metal springs and multipumps. thanx for the info.@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611
Hey Chuck, have you seen the new Benjamin “single die” pellets? 20 bucks for 400 and they are supposed to be “match grade”. I wonder if they are any good
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 oh boy. Unfortunately I’ve been dealing with that on and off for years. Yea a little pricey but I was still kind of curious. My go to pellets are the H&N FTT 14.6 or the regular crosman ultra mag 14.3s. What are your go to pellets for .22?
