No not this one! Though I would adore plats to diamonds in my matches and to be gold-plat as a Moira - I don't only throw dps orbs or do DPS and try to stick to my tank (or heal dps that aren't bouncing all over the damned place...)
I for one am all for this new arc of Greed being emotionally and mentally destroyed from overwatch, resulting in extra wholesome gameplay with the glue huffers
Why every clash game modes go in a way: your side gets 3 points => your side starts to lose and at least 2 points get lost to the enemy team => game goes either heavily winnable or instant lose ? Either that or you are on opposite team experiencing exact reverse of this. Rarely something diffrent. I swear to god all my matches in this mode went exactly in this 2 scenarios most of the time 🤣
I’ve had games where it goes from Silver 1 to Plat 1, I destroy those lobbies. I’ve had games where it does from Plat 5 to Diamond 2, I lose those matches. It’s absolutely absurd, that I’m forced to bully bronze players then suddenly fight former GM players. (I’m Diamond 5)
Bro my friend is literally curse and hardstuck gold for dps. He's been there since OW1 and I got to diamond in OW2 for support after 1 years worth of playing. Literally had 2 friends who made it past gold tried his account then failed horrendously, then I tried boosting him with my supporter just to find our second game went from Silver 1 to MASTERS 3. Like blud I'm still diamond 2 why we playing with these crazy animals😭
theres not much difference from diamond to the tippity top its literally a headshot diff here and there, plat is the broadest skill rank where a lot of tilted players reside that lack the cooperation needed to advance to diamond. Gold is where the mechanical skill drops off lots of Hanzos and Widows doing nothing, in Silver u get cooperation again I usually have best teams over there of course they miss 50% of bullets but the will is there and people seem to know their role
I was matched with plats as a bronze. Definitely working as intended. Not just once, but the same group up 3 times in a row. I only found out because I thought it was people smurfing and someone said they were a plat. It was then I understood what was really happening. As a bronze if I see what is going on, your system is screwed up!
when i play on my diamond alt solo q and i get a plat to masters (or high diamond) range game, i always know i am getting the plat and i will see some HEINOUS shit. they are unironically much harder to play than high masters/gm games because the range is so fucking wide and that plat player is nonexistent in the lobby. if anything, the lower rank you are, the match ranges should be tighter... but this is blizzard and they are braindead.
It took me 300+ matches to hit Plat support & took even fewer to lose it all again. I'm playing open queue for the rest of the season so I can just "Do it myself" & finish my jade weapons
Broooo I’m so happy someone else had this happen too. I had one like a few days ago that was Plat 4 to masters 2. I was a solo Q dmd 4 tank and lost my mind when the lobby was made. I checked the entire lobbies profile and everyone was plat to dmd except there Ashe who was the high masters player. This individual had 85 Elims with 34k dmg. We ended up losing largely because I had plat dps vs masters and you could clearly see it on the scoreboard. My dps both died 25 times where as me and the two supports died 10 times. Ppl still tell me the system is perfect and that the people like us who complain are just “bad” 😂. The blizzard Meat Munchers are gonna say “you gotta carry bro” like no I shouldn’t have to be prime lebron vs the golden State Warriors literally doing everything and anything to win while my teammates are choking on air and picking their nose 😂.

These company’s don’t have any incentive to actually improve their products when they make millions per month on battle passes and skins. Had a comp game last night. Silver 5//Plat 1... Idiots telling us that the matchmaker isn't rigged and working as intended.. The silver on my team, other dps and pulled the entire match down by feeding non-stop, out of position etc. The enemy 'silver' was a smurf who completely obliterated my team.

Every third Tank game play is like 7 rank tiers wide. Seen M5-GM, M5-Plat way too many times, when I was diamond earlier in the season I saw Diamond 2-Gold something. All soloqueue btw.
I'm going to say it. Rank inflation is at an all time high. I say this because many heroes that everyone plays are constantly getting powercreeped making those heroes much better to play. And making them better to play makes the players that play them need less skill rank up with. I see this with Mercy, Moira, tanks, Brig, Kiri, Lucio, Ashe, and honestly everyone has had some powercreep in some way.
That's so true. I'm very tired of getting games p1-m5 in solo q while searching game for 17 mins. 5v5 has better queue times. I doubt that queue times on support in ow1 in diamond was 10-17 mins

the only explanation i can think of for that first match is plat not having enough tank players for the matchmaker to work properly. i'm not sure about eu but in na queues for support and dps have only gotten longer recently even though it still says
Considering that a lot of time the ranks display is not correct a lot of times i see in my games plat 3 to diamond 4 and every single time if u watch every profile some gold will pop up
had a game yesterday i was 46 elim 0 death and barely won in last fight carry 99% vs 99% koth. both team were bunch of toddlers. its just unbelievable how bad the rank system and matchmaker is lol. these people shouldn't earn money from this job. it's criminal.
The fact that the game matches plats with masters suggests that there is essentially no difference in skill between these players. The game has eroded player expression to the point that you can be two ranks above your enemy and still lose because your team isn’t doing the right thing.
my favorite is coming back to the game after not playing it for like 5-6 days and having some of the slowest most rigged you win matches ever, once those 2 are over, of course it's back to getting railed by com teams/ pc players, or anyone with a half a brain but then it's like 500x faster and even more questionable.
Where is coach ballsack that talked about coaching people from silver to GM? Before season 9 that was possible but they reward brainless play. The game wants you to carry pieces of trash

The difference in skill between a masters player and a plat player is obscene. It’s not this way now but back in the day even just 100SR was the difference between shitter and pro player.
