The reason that the lowest damage class got nerfs and the higher damage class got buffs is obvious: the devs have absolutely no idea what they are doing. They do not give a single fuck about pvp and it's obvious.
They buffed Boomy tier set because in PVE it was better to run old tier set (or at least 2 set 2 set) even though it was a 20+ ilvl difference on those pieces. And in massive enough aoe it was better to run old 4 set completely. So they had to buff S4 tier set to make sure it was always a damage increase over previous tier.
My biggest complaint about seeing frost DK damage buff is that they abuse micro CCs for their kills. Not complaining that they are good or bad, just a statement.
Damage is already so high, my average Shuffle is lasting 2:17 seconds this season, last season my average shuffle was lasting 3:24 seconds. This is from 2k-2.4k MMR. And they are buffing a ton of classes damage. Shuffle is going to be so fast
3:55 Its design is also why you can't buff it too much. It has 1 shot potential, you have to change the design to buff it. 10:36 So true, having no dispel protection is horrible. They're giving too many classes Purge! Dragons and Dh's purging is wild to me...

Can we take a moment and be thankful for these amazing holy paladin buffs. They really understand the problem with holy pala. My bop is still 0,01 seconds on the target but atleast I do bigger wogs while shitting my pants now. thaaaanks
Bop is so trash now that half the classes have a purge and we have no purge protection, having to pre freedom a bop just for them to use their talented purge that purges 2 abilities. Glimmer/Freedom/Bop, they have a 66% chance of getting it, if you have to bop whilst in a Warrior fear or bop urself out of a stun without a freedom, it just gets purged before you can freedom yourself with protection too. At least we got a buff though, It's a nice break from the back to back to back mana nerfs.
r1 shadowpriest here, i havent touched pvp since the new season since the removal of 4 set significantly affected our setup burst and now with these changes i feel justified in doing so. they are absolutely clueless. Cyclone needs to be gutted to china to start with
So blizzard buffed all the other top teams with mes playing dk, dh not seeing nerfs, and boomy getting buffed not to forget rogues getting nerfed. I Don’t even play the game but I’ve been super invested in the move and this shits kind of annoying
Enhance shaman get ignored once again. It’s pathetic how they make them use fire weapon for offhand instead of dual windfury. Lava lash is a horrid, horrid talent.
Perfect example of why talents that say “x does 15% more damage” are so pointless and troll. Blizzard will inevitably reduce x by y% anyway. Worthless talents

Every range main crys so hard whenever anything melee is viable. Meanwhile most titles ever won, wizards Most tournament wins ever, wizards But nah dh is the problem, balance druids literally 200+ rating higher then Dh in solo shuffle But nah its the dh apparently
Is your point meant to defend melee in general or just DHs? Because the problem with DH (and you can actually see it in the recent AWC as THE MOVE got second place) is their damage in combination of mobility, s, purge, kick, MS, and insane damage, not mentioning their defense CDs. If DH were just this huge mobility + burst damage class, no one would complain because there is a play against it (like you heard little people complain about WW monks). But when you have a class that does three times the damage of an outlaw rogue (again, referring to Pika's vod post AWC) SINGLE TARGET by doing nothing besides standing nearby and bleeding, yes... there is a problem when even top-rated players are clueless as to how to handle this spec. As a healer main, I cannot possibly sit and heal through DH because I cannot outkite it, I cannot fake casts because his output DPS is so high he doesn't need to kick, just micro cc me, and I cannot outheal him because his DPS is much higher than my HPS even with CDs.
