17:17 This guy/girl is the one being inappropriate. It's perfectly appropriate to express your displeasure when a company lets you down. It's your right as a consumer.
Yeah that fan is definitely being cringe. It's so sad when people like that believe that giant multinational corporations are their friends. And they don't want anyone to be mean to their friend and hurt their friend's feelings
It's that fo-hype you see salespeople have when they're trying to sell you a piece of coal. Hey! In a million years it might be a diamond!! Long term investment!
9:50 You can literally feel in his voice when he started to realize, that something was not right here... DED audience thinking about what this "mobile" stuff is, he's talking about. Still hurst to watch this 3 years later.
@@ittybittykibibyte Fuck 'em, Cheng-boy is probably part of the ActiBlizz nonsense selling out to China and focusing on the mass income of mobile gaming instead of making money via _good games_
I feel like this entire company has been swallowed by some other entity and forced to do their bidding. No one looks happy to compose themselves at all.
I mean, Blizzard was literally consumed and acquired by Activision, so that pretty much matches what you're saying. Makes you wonder what Blizzard might have been like if they'd never been acquired and stayed independent.
Fun fact: On April 1st 2014 Blizzard actually announced Happy Reaper as a Diablo mobile game. Unfortunately with so many employees laid off four years later nobody remembered it was meant as a joke.
This dogshit nervous enthusiasm/fake excitement/nauseating shit dance that tech companies require from an entire industry of introverts literally drove me from software development into the medical field. It's like all of tech was taken over by ex-cheerleaders who make every day a hellish popularity contest won by whoever can fake the most "energy." I'd honestly rather vacuum mucous from an endotracheal tube than put up with these people again.
The only thing worse than talking about mobile games to a PC masterrace audience, is not even bothering to show the game... Like, people already hate that you brought up mobile, at least TRY to impress them.
I think people also forget that a lot of this is and should be geared towards a young audience. We all know the after school shows and commercials when we were growing up as kids were just as cringe as this because it's targeted at 8-12 year olds to get them drinking the kool-aid and turning them into a life long fan. I'm okay with that. Wholesome comes with cringe and that's okay.
I can't stand what these things have become. E3 included. It's just people we don't care about talking for too long about stuff we don't want to hear about with no gameplay footage.
you see some of these people get up and ask these questions as though they take the game so seriously, like to the eventual detriment of their own mental and in some cases, physical health, that as a developer up on stage i'd have to wonder "have i done something terrible to society by creating this game?"
This is like the news footage from Star Ship Troopers. Unintentional insanity and cringe. Leave your integrity and your humanity at the entrance please. I'd only seen the 'have you got phone segments previously'. I had no idea there this much gold at the same event.
Don't make fun of the fans though, I mean what can you expect from people that play WoW and Diablo several hours a week? I think they are brave for getting into the spotlight and asking relevant questions, I mean I don't even know (or care) about Blizzard lore, but I still applaud those with the guts to stand up in front of everyone Lol, I mean when you introduce yourself as "A proud shadow priest" then you know it's not people comfortable outside of the digital spotlight
"what can you expect from people that play WoW and Diablo several hours a week?" It was like the people getting sodomised asking questions about whether the suffering would stop.
😂 Why the hell are they fighting among each other? On stage even? We all assumed morale was low among their staff but come on! Is this a stupid act? The arguing guy is literally destroying the Asian presenter, Blizzard is destroying itself in front of everybody, I admit I never expected this much cringe, thanks for sharing this poster, this is hilarious, poor Blizzard, it needs to end for itself and all of our sakes
Lol, I'm wondering the same thing. I assume you're talking about the segment starting at 13:37...do these guys actually hate each other?? Was this supposed to be "playful banter"?? Wtf happened here?
Yes this is a stupid act. They teach that when you present in two people and it's ridiculous. You can see all tech companies doing this whenever they are presenting a 'cool' product. Look up some Red Hat speakers
I know it's a little too late to say this but I hope that Diablo Immortal failed miserably because it would make would explain why they came out with Diablo 3 on a consoles 3 years later
@@Bahamut998 yeah i know, thats why i wont buy it and wating for a sale. But in the end i dont care much, im a diablo player who clear the story 1-2 times and then stop playing it. I dont find any fun in grinding 24/7 and doing the same shit over and over again for a different set.
17:02 You think so? I'd say it's really inappropriate to build something up for months only to have it turned into a cash grab kids game. You hype something up only to deliver on a shit product you deserve every last bit of criticism out there.
Why would you take a bunch of people with absolutely no people or social skills and bring them all together and expect they would not be cringe AF!!??!! This con is about the most real human interaction they will get. They are the future of the human race scary 😳
Net ease games wth Rules of survival was a horrible br well it was kinda good but then went bad cause the devs were money hungry people who dint care about the community
jesus fucking christ they made a whole Q&A FOR A MOBILE GAME???? like jesus this is something you tell people on twitter about or mention for liek a minute AT MOST
I had forgotten the woman at the opening repeating "friends!", I make fun of that thing they told the hosts to say ALL the time but forgot it was THIS year 😅
It was like they started stumbling and then they realized they were falling so they just kind of went for the face plant hands behind the back. Big old grin on their face. Just going straight for the pavement
