I have now found a trick for myself. I simply change the needle position by 0.3 in the direction the seam allowance goes. This makes my flying geese just perfect
Jessica - I really love quilting and I too am self taught. I have a big concern. I do not feel that the cutting of my fabric is as accurate as it should be. I have used a 5 lb. weight to hold by quilting ruler but it still slips. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance. P.S. I really enjoy your videos😊
I am not sure. Maybe see if your table isn't the correct height for you? When I cut, I can fully lean over my cutting table so that I have really good leverage for holding the ruler. If my cutting table is too high, I can't hold the ruler steady as well.
