PLEASE READ 😊🙏🏻 As the title says it only works on the browser, NOT in apps like RU-vid 🚫 It's 100% secure and reversible. If your TV asks for IPv6 DNS: 2a00:5a60::ad1:0ff 2a00:5a60::ad2:0ff RESULTS of the tutorial MAY VARY depending on your Smart TV and/or future updates. If you need a WRITTEN GUIDE for LG, SAMSUNG, ANDROID TV (for example SONY), APPLE TV and FIRE TV click here: adguard-dns.io/it/public-dns.html Click on "Method #2: Configure ADGuard DNS manually" and then "Smart TV". 🔽 🔽 🔽 IF THIS METHOD DOESN'T WORK/ANYMORE you can follow my new and 100% working tutorial here 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AtnezhEBrbU.html I'll show you how to insert the DNS directly into your modem/router (NOT EVERY ROUTER HAS THE POSSIBILITY OF CHANGING THE DNS THOUGH, so you'll need to try for yourself 😊 for example it doesn't work on FWA routers (with a mobile SIM in it) as explained here: adguard-dns.io/it/public-dns.html (click on "Method #2: Configure ADGuard DNS manually" and then "Routers". THIS METHOD IS FULLY EXPLAINED IN THE NEW TUTORIAL 😊✌🏻)
So you clearly missed the parts where I wrote in the comment you replied to "PLEASE READ" written in capital letters "results may vary depending on your TV brand and/or future updates" and the other part where there's a link to another tutorial for people who had problems with this method, right? The included adblocker on my TV browser does absolutely nothing, that's why I made two tutorials, otherwise I wouldn't have done any of them. The adblocker was turned on even when I showed the ads so that's the proof that it doesn't work. I also tell you this: this method stopped working for a while even on my TV after an update and that's the reason why I made a second tutorial. Does it make sense to you now that you know the reason why I made two videos? There's also a link to the AdGuard page where I got all the info before making the videos so skeptical people like you can go and see that I'm not making things up. I also have another video on how to block ads on PS4/PS5 with almost 65k views. I'll link it to you so you can take a look at the comments and see if there's a single person that followed correctly the video (and what I mean by that is not expecting it to work on RU-vid) who says that it didn't work.
No no assolutamente, uso questi qui di AdGuard e non ho mai avuto problemi.
Ora do un occhiata e mi informo.
Try a different site, it's always due to certain sites if the videos don't start. If you still have problems click on the link in the first comment and follow the other tutorial 👍🏻
Take a look at the first comment in the comment section because the result may vary depending on your TV brand. I have an LG but it stopped working after an update and I had to insert these DNS numbers directly into the router. I have a tutorial, the link is the first comment. If your router has the possibility to change the DNS you can solve the problem completely. But unfortunately there's no definitive solution if your TV isn't collaborative towards the DNS changes. Try again, maybe don't turn off the WiFi, simply try to watch a video online right after the changes and see if it works.
You know what? I prefer not to experiment too much with changes in Wi-Fi, because the channels on the TV will stop working completely and I won't be able to watch anything.
No problem, you can just go back to stock settings then 👍🏻 these DNS didn't cause any problem to me anyway, so if you want to try again in the future there shouldn't be any problems 😊 have a nice day
No I actually had the same problem after an update, so I'm not able to do this again on my LG C1. I had to do it directly on the router, then it worked. It's obviously completely reversible but no problem on there as well. But the router has to have the possibility to change the DNS and not every router has it. I'm fortunate enough to have one that can do it. Now all the ads on the web pages are gone, pop-ups are still present but 50% or less
I used to get load of ads almost every second. Changing the DNS has reduced it significantly. I tried searching the site that you use in the video but can't find it. Perhaps you can give me the link?
2024 , seems to work , almost no popups or significantly fewer, but i had to disable ipv6 , use only ipv4 and the corresponding adguard dns server , as i cannot edit ipv6 settings for some reason on tv
yes it works brother...i would like to ask you if you have any solution for the ads in youtube brother...i could not make it work for the ads of youtube.....they are really a pain in the ass... any idea ?? Grazie!
Hi, i need help. I did this and the pop up's stopped but the movies wouldn't load anymore either so i tried to go back to auto settings and now the website itself won't load
@matheusmourtada4050 I understand that, but it's their fault if it doesn't work on TV browsers. There's plenty of new sites that work perfectly fine on TV and with these DNS active. Restart the router if the automatic settings don't work anymore
These DNS can be set also on the router if your router supports that function. You can take a look at the first comment in the comment section for more info and the link to the tutorial for doing that procedure 👍🏻
@@Riga89 Hey, i just found out that that website itself went down last night. I tried the dns with a different one and its working great!! Thank you! People like you should get unlimited deserts at buffets for life.
Here's my tutorial 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cb_o6qb2qho.html Take a look in its first comment for the link to the app and more info
I understand.. Well, the LG C1 (and all the other WebOS based LG TVs I think) after an update from mid 2022 made more difficult to remove the ads, making this method almost useless for me. That's why I've made the other tutorial with the router involved. For example on the PS4 and PS5 this DNS method works perfectly fine. People with other smart TV brands (Samsung for example) say that too. LG must have done something to its OS though, so unfortunately now this method is less effective, I'm sorry
There's another tutorial linked in the first comment along with more info. But this is not an adblocker, TV browsers aren't the same as the ones on PC or smartphone and nothing more can be done. Some pop-ups will always be there but sometimes they don't show anything because the ads in them are blocked. But trust me, without this type of ad blocking the pop-ups would be 10x more. At least on the sites I'm visiting. If I don't use this method I really cannot start certain videos due to an infinite number of pop-ups, for example sport events on certain sites. And the normal ads are super annoying and they actually slow down the navigation speed cause part of your internet data is used to load them and the browser struggle to load them cause more RAM is used resulting again in slower navigation. Anyway take a look at the first comment 👍🏻👍🏻
I haven't had any problems for now 👍🏻 except from the fact that it doesn't work anymore on my LG TV due to an update of the TV itself. But I know that it works fine on other TV brands, Samsung for example. Let me know if you have any issues brother 😊👍🏻 take care. If you have a PlayStation you can use these DNS settings there too, you can find a tutorial on my channel if you are interested or if you know someone that doesn't have a smart TV 👋🏻
The only method I found is using these DNS directly into the router. But not every router has the option to change the DNS so it really depends on that. I've done a video tutorial for this as well, I have a stock router from my internet provider (Vodafone) so everything I show could be different for you, but you can take a look anyway if you're interested 👍🏻😊 (it's 8 minutes long) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AtnezhEBrbU.html It still doesn't block 100% of the ads on the LG browser but it helps a lot
Here's the tutorial for android (except RU-vid and social media apps because the ads in there are built into the apps themselves. This works on the browser and all the other apps such as games with ads, etc.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cb_o6qb2qho.html Read the first comment because it's an old tutorial and there are a few differences now. There's also the link to download the app (it's already paid so it's free). For RU-vid you can install this app mega.nz/file/ewJymRCD#54byZGG6LWbIfmM0miRC201_Cgcvk-Nop0HfRcAd7tg which is basically a modified version of it called Revanced RU-vid. I simply took the original installation file of RU-vid (in the form of an .apk file, the equivalent af an .exe installation file in Windows) and modified it with an app called Revanced Manager (you can find more info here to learn more about the process github.com/ReVanced/revanced-manager). The result is RU-vid without ads and with additional options in the Settings under the "Revanced Settings". For free Revanced RU-vid Music install this app (the process I made it's the same) mega.nz/file/Kk4zmDrI#KJl96Wr8xyw491166wZSGKIDW8BE3Q-6roEj4atImas so you'll basically have RU-vid Music Premium for free, no ads and infinite free music 😉👍🏻 in the links all you have to do is hit the download button and then click on the files. If your phone asks you to give the permission to install them just give it. You'll install an app outside of the Play Store, that's the reason why you'll be asked to give that permission 👍🏻👍🏻 hit me up in the future if you have any problem so I'll give you the updated versions of the apps (or you can modify them by yourself by following the guide in the 3rd link I gave you or just by searching for some tutorial on RU-vid, for example "Revanced RU-vid installation".
Take a look at my other tutorial here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AtnezhEBrbU.html to insert the DNS directly into your router. You'll need to have a fiber or ADSL router (not FWA routers with a SIM in it) and the possibility to change the DNS (not every router has that)
It doesn't matter where you are. Results may vary depending on your TV but other users confirmed it's working on Samsung TVs. Read the first comment in the comments section for more info, this method is not for apps like RU-vid but just for the browser 👍🏻
There's the link to their webpage in the first comment. Here it is in case you've missed it adguard-dns.io/it/public-dns.html they make money in other ways like selling adblockers for PCs , smartphone, etc. That's why they give free DNS. Plus every other DNS I've used in my life are free so.. Google is the first one giving their DNS out for free, how is it possible? LOL
Sure 👍🏻 if it doesn't work it might depend on your TV brand (not every TV get the same results unfortunately) so be sure to read the first comment for more info. There's also a link to another tutorial to set up your wi-fi router in order to insert those DNS numbers directly into it (results depend again on your router brand and/or your internet company).
Do you mean the one about the alternative method to block ads on the TV browser? I've actually had to remove it cause I was risking a copyright infringement and possibly really bad consequences for my channel. But later today I'll upload it somewhere on the cloud and I'll give you the link to download it 😊👍🏻 Just let me know the title of that video if you can still read it so I'll make no mistakes
There you go brother, just click on the link and click on Download (from the smartphone) or in the arrow near the Download Button and then on Standard Download (if you use your computer). No need to install any app, the download starts immediately. The file is 400Mb and it's an MP4 video 👍🏻😊 mega.nz/file/atpVEYyJ#8Hg1nDiOH_lrAUxpY-jK-69HMoH-eUXZX7SFYtOeGdQ
Check out my latest tutorial here, it should 100% work directly on your modem. It doesn't work when using hotspot though ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aM9Ohw_UhEM.html
Never heard of that app before 😅 but usually this method works only on the browser, so you'll need to try for yourself and see if it works on that app. Anyway I recommend this method instead, it will block ads directly from the router by doing a very simple and reversible procedure 👍🏻 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AtnezhEBrbU.html
Every DNS filter your data, even the stock DNS of you router or the Google DNS used by the majority of people (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). These DNS filter ads also. Here you can read all the info about them adguard-dns.io/kb/it/
Ciao!
If you insert these DNS on your router/modem yes, it changes on every device connected to it. But if you insert these DNS on your smart TV they are effective only on the smart TV. If you want to block Ads and porn content you can use these DNS instead: IPv4: 94.140.14.15 and 94.140.15.16 IPv6: 2a10:50c0::bad1:ff and 2a10:50c0::bad2:ff You can follow my tutorial here if you need to insert them on your router/modem 👍🏻 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aM9Ohw_UhEM.html
I didn't try but in the link of their site it's specified that those DNS block ads and porn content. The DNS shown in my video block ads only 👍🏻 click on the link then on "Method #2: Configure AdGuard DNS manually" and then on "Routers"
Yes it's the C1 👍🏻 as I've said I had some problems too in setting again the DNS. The TV saves the settings but the ads are still there. When I've made the video I just had to turn off the TV and wait a couple of minutes before turning it back on, but this time it doesn't work. Maybe something has changed after the updates of the firmware, I don't know. I have to try again until I find a solution, cause some people in the comments say that it's working for them, so I think it may depends to the operative system of the TV. Anyway try to set the DNS and then turn off the TV for 5 minutes at least
Check out this new method on my latest tutorial here 😊 it should 100% work on your ADSL/Fiber modem. It doesn't work when using hotspot with a smartphone or an FWA modem though ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aM9Ohw_UhEM.html
