Wow, just about $450! Big expence. That is why those charters are pricey. But well worthed for sure😊

This is a bit controversial amongst my friends with trolling motors, but I only use the trolling motor to match the drift on the bottom. If there is no natural drift on the bottom, all the trolling motor really does is scope your line out. Of course, this is just my experience based on the times I’ve used it in such conditions.

@jiggingjerks ok, thank you for the response, John. I never had trolling motor on my boat, I am installing one for next year, so I am still learning about it. True about current, especially where we fish, Old Saybrook CT area. A lot of current and "confused seas" 🙂. BTW, I like your videos, between yours and John Skinner, this is 80% of fishing I watch. You guys are very informative, non of that "showing off nonsense". When are you getting your Eastward 24? You need to make some nice videos with that boat, I'm wondering how is fishing going be on it and how it is going to behave in different conditions?
