This game is a Hidden Gem. Games that are like RPG based, like adventure story, I loved the idea and game design of all the fights! Sadly. those games were never finished or worked on again. so i hope to see this worked on as I am excited for even it's demo as it loved this type of genre.
Though I do wonder, will testers only be trusted people/friends or will soon there be some unknown testers? (not saying you should add random people as testers since the game is coming before June 15.

I sense the peak coming from every part of this game: the art style, music, gameplay and mechanics. Something I really like is that damage is fully negated on block. However, you will take a good amount of damage on hit but it's balanced by the fact most of the attacks the enemies have are well choreographed. This makes them feel fairer to counter, somewhat like how minos prime says something before attacking, providing the same effect. Though a small and insignificant nitpick I have is that when you win a battle, you gain 2 HP and SP but it's not reflected until you exit the battle. It would be nice if the numbers could flash green for a second to match their correct values. (Something like when you heal up using a cheeseburger?) Overall, I am really excited to play this game with my friends, especially regarding recent news with a certain 4-player PVE game.
Tbh, I hope the bosses are actually a bit difficult. Perfect blocks fully negating damage are very OP. I know it's the same as the superguard in TTYD. If you knew how to hit the 3-frame window, almost all attacks can be countered. I hope that the window is not too large, or some attacks not be fully blockable to balance the game and make the bosses more tense. Skill ceilings and reward is good but it shouldn't be too easy after all
Oh my gosh, i love the new ball animation. It looks so fun to watch your character do a sick trick and catch the ball, flip around and throw it again its so cool

considering there is a “Special” Section, i assume those are abilitiles similar to the star powers in Paper Mario They’ll probably be using the special swords since you collect them across your journey
@@Sam_Noob4 honestly at first when you look at the graphics and gameplay it's laughable, but then you realise this is what is FUN, modern games focus too much on the tough to learn and infinite grind where you think you'll enjoy it at the end but there is always more to grind Overall I miss games where the whole point was exploring and enjoying it and not working for an end goal 24/7 as if it's a chore
@@fitmotheyap @fitmotheyap i agree with you that nowdays it's rare to stumble upon a game on roblox that isn't a simulator or just a cashgrab,I don't agree that the game looks laughable, even if i didn't play roblox at it's so called golden age (2006 to 2015) I still love that classic style that it holds, I know it can be jarring for most people, but in my opinion it looks good, it's simple and innocent. It isn't corporate or too bland, It isn't too realistic nor too intensive, but i do get it if people think it doesn't look good (I also like the classic style because it's easier on my pc to run it lollll)
Will there be cards similar to the Jumpman and Hammerman badges from Paper Mario? (They give you +1 attack power but lock you out of using jumps or hammers, forcing you to stick to one method of attack)
I'm very happy that we have this game being put in the works, always been a fan of rpgs but they never seem to be multiplayer. I have 2 friends that are excited for this game. I'll be cheering for you (or guys if its a group of people lol) to the very end!

Love how this game is turning out, and funnily enough this game looks a lot like a turn based rpg Im working on, except with more of an adventure story/paper mario vibe than earthbound. Still love your work though cant wait for this to come out
i'm absolutely hyped i'm going all in on the upcoming paid early access and game donations!!!!!!! i was astonished and amazed by the graphics and the vibe as well as the storyline of earthbound and your game instantly brings me back to those of my memories. though, i find something and it is that you appear to always have hp and sp regeneration after you win a battle. sure this is amazing when you're exhausted after winning a battle against really tough enemies that costs you a lot of hp and sp. but i don't think the same for easy matches against easy enemies as displayed in your preview. if you're good, they can barely do any harm to you with your counters and blocks. if you want the nature of the game to be forgiving, in my opinion reward the easy matches with only 1-2 hp and or sp and some tix, and for tougher, harder matches, maybe 3-6 sp and or hp along with higher tix rewards. i pointed out the rewarding mechanic because the game in which you mainly have inspirations from, earthbound, does not have such thing as rewarding sp and hp regeneration after winning any type of matches, which can make the game a little too difficult to newbies. speaking of which, i think you should add a "difficulty" setting when you're done with the basics of your game, like "baby mode", regenerate 2-4 stat points after winning a battle, or "hell", zero stat point regeneration after winning a battle and make it harder to block and counter enemy attacks or something like that. feel free to completely ignore my comment on your reward mechanic. it's just my point of view on your game, not my game.
Really dig into everything, i just wish the attacks had more oomph when they success like squash and stretch, even if it has to break the style a lil bit, it would give satisfying and visual feedback to the player which is always neat~
I really like where this game is going. The previews of this game look fantastic and I can tell the passion into this game. Can't wait to play it. One question though, are you able to show a preview of what the game will look like on mobile?
God there are so many good games like this on roblox yet I can mever find them thanks to roblox prioritising profit making games over actual well made ones, what a time we love in

@@TheRealBluay Good to hear, i swear next roblox rdc or bloxy awards or whatever they are called now, should have this game get an award, it's unlikely since roblox itself is pretty unfair with games like these, but that's something I wish would happen
I Dont want to be that guy and destroy the hype, but i think the developers are not always working on Block-Tales, most of the developers are part of ROLVe, so maybe they are developing stuff on arsenal or other games like that.

Oh mb, mabye something to do with the sfoth swords then? Like a poison stab (venomshank) or something to do with healing the user after the attack (darkheart). Although those would probably be used as weapons instead of attacks

@@TiredTopHat u didnt miss it i havent showed it yet the sword energy meter acts like star power from paper mario 64 it is used for the swords u gather from the end of a chapter, each sword has its own ability and sword energy cost
