Honestly the game hasn't had a proper update that wasn't an event or a hat/gear update in quite a while. It would be refreshing to see blockate integrate some of the stuff that a majority of it's competition has. 0:42 also is that gammas steeples of hell!?
I'm kind of of a bit glad that Blockate has hit this low. I mean, it wasn't as bad as 2020, but ya. It just from my experience from the game since August 2019, I had some bad memories with it and the community which made me quit the game twice. However, it wouldn't hurt me if I did see the game get players though.
I remember I used to play this game called World Builder, it had true customization and it let me create entire games. Sometime in 2020, it sadly got taken down because people were making inappropriate messages using text gates. R.I.P. You were the best game on Roblox.
Another issue you didn't mention is that Blockate is starting to get competition, which makes it harder for the game to grow, i noticed alot of people moved on to other building games since they either provide more than blockate or don't have a dying frontpage.
I feel a big reason why player numbers has been the same for a long time has been the community has just been aging with it, a lot of people started playing in 2019 (including me) and we still play it even though we are now in our mid/late teens.
Guys I (kinda/pretty) have some good news Yesterday I was in a game with tylander (for some reason he just joined a bit after I joined) and announced some ideas he was thinking of to add! The server also gave suggestions so it’s very possible we might be getting movable stats, movable filters and movable kill blocks! Which is an EXTREMELY good update, there might be some other stuff added to it I don’t know, but I think at least one of the things will be added
I think if the blockate devs focused more on actually making the game better (more commands, better ways to add depth to your game) it would help the community much more than these stupid events. Dont get me wrong, events are cool, but we should only have halloween and christmas events instead of all these other ones so that the devs can add more stuff to the core game. The game doesnt need to be promoted, it needs to be made better
issue is that the admins CANT ACCESS THE GAME THROUGH STUDIO which is why there is no new features, only the owner fewkz can, and they have moved on to PLS DONATE. maybe if they did something for studio support, then the campaign would be fixed.

Wubby and Blockate epic. Though I'm too dumb to learn it - says every Blockate player including me. I don't wanna hear it Wubbers I can't it's not simpler rahhh... (but I really like their builds lol)
Join Wubby. It's not that hard, just play around. They explain what the blocks and gates do in their properties UI, and even if you still can't understand there are tutorials for some blocks/gates on RU-vid, even if for some blocks/gates they are missing and the tutorials are mostly badly edited and few (but at least some of them do the job), and since wubby has wiring, most games won't keep depending on the admins or owner to do things like teleporting players. Don't get me wrong, I know you can do this on Blockate, but it's very very simple and you can't advance much beyond the commands and attributes on blocks, so you will still depend on the admins and owner to do a lot of things, while on Wubby you can wire things and the system you made will automatically do the job for you. Besides wiring, you can make things faster with the Scale block option. On Blockate you place blocks blocks by block. On Wubby you can scale them and make polished games since the minimum grid size is 0.25 (and 0.01 for premium players). It's good, very good. Some players make beautiful and very polished worlds on Wubby
@@giotaboi Thats why there are tutorials, and a whole page in their discord server dedicated to helping you with your issues, sure it still wont be easy to understand everything at first but its so worth it.
ngl dont get me wrong wubby is fire but I have spent way too much time on goofy blockate to learn a new game, which is harder (due to obvious reasons). things that makes me feel like I shouldn't join wubby is that 1. Your overwhelmed and fed too much information at once. Like sure you can learn them but it's like redstone in Minecraft, you want to make something with redstone but you're so confused on where to start to make your mechanism, and when you learn how to build it via videos it's just following crap you don't know what's doing but in the end you do it anyways because it works. You don't learn anything, you just learn how to follow steps to make things. 2. Standards are way too high. Like when I wanna make something at least decent on Blockate, I just have to understand what blocks work or not. When I try to do stuff in Wubby there's always something I can make it look cleaner. If I wanna learn to make something people like on Wubby, I have to learn all this, well professional building stuff. Well yeah, it's a good thing but if my goals are the builds in like, per say the games in the preview section on Roblox (The ones you see when you click on the game and it shows landscape photos of previews of your game) it gets my bars for what I have to create to be good that high. Sure we have featured games on Blockate which also raises the bar but at least I can understand what's happening in the world. I look at what block combos and materials work and how to utilize simple mechanics which is easy for me since there are only a couple functions. As when a person from Wubby shows me how Wubby is better with all the things they made, I go like "Huh. I wonder what is so complex it allows it to happen". It's basically like learning the Geometry Dash editor. I'm sure you can play Wubby to a certain extent where you can recognize how builds work but I don't wanna have to constantly learn better or practice new methods. (I probably phrased this where I could be said as a hypocrit but hopefully someone can somewhat understand) but maybe that's not my issue. maybe it's because I've made too many memories and spent way too many minutes of my life getting attached to people around me in Blockate. I really like Wubby but. I really don't think I have the motivation to learn another building game after so long. And to be honest, it's better off quitting building games as a whole than trying to join a discord server and searching tutorials on RU-vid on how to do whatever specific thing you want just to make a game that will probably be ignored as simple knowledge.
play build island then, although the games have to be hosted (owner of the server) plus there is wiring like coding but 10x easier, I recommend trying build island tho the games aren’t good sometimes
I'm actually pretty sad on how blockate has been over the past few months. I joined in October 21st of 2019, right before president jokowi had his second inauguation (idk how to spell it since it's not my first language) but uhh i quite enjoy blockate, only because of the genres, though i feel like it's getting more lonelier there.. i might actually switch to minehut
I think that giving players an incentive to stay would be better to prioritise so that the new players that may come will play for longer. Thing is though is that there isnt a good way to do this that i know of, since the current community lacks expertise or ambition in making games.
good thing its going rock bottom. They banned me a while ago and i was one of the greatest blockate map builders back then, i even popularized the ("Tp to the other room, find:get-key") genre. Alot of today's blockate games like that were copied from a guy i forgor name, wich Took Some big inspiration from my "Find the Shards" game. Its a great news for me. I know blockate is a beautifull game but i almost broke my pc when i got banned. Peace out, my gamers.
i got false banned cuz when an admin joined my internet cut out and i couldnt do anything about it until like 10 mins later when the admin had left ;-;
I don’t think wubby is better than blockate, I find blockate alot better. I play country games most notably BACT by far one of the best games on blockate
i love wubby its my favorite building game i am happy that Roblox show me wubby i hope wubby add more EASY stuff (i played blockate and i never build a map i sure open blockate editor but it was like 2 times other times was playing other people worlds)

Bye blockate, you will not he missed!!! Wubby will now reign supreme!!! Genuinely, I've come to hate blockate. When you said, "The new players' games will make the front page messy!!!" As if the current games even come close to being decent, I almost laughed out loud. Back when I used to play, I spent 2 months making a very functional game, at least functional for blockate standards, and it was rejected. The standards are so high and when I asked subs why, he said it was because "players are getting really good". IS THAT A JOKE? IN ALL MY TIME ON BLOCKATE, I HAVE FOUND A GRAND TOTAL OF 0 DECENT GAMES, DISCLUDING ONES THAT WERE ALREADY FEATURED, LET ALONE GOOD. AND YOURE TELLING ME ITS BECAUSE BLOCKATE PLAYERS ARE BETTER NOW?! And they never even clarify what's wrong if you get rejected, so even if I was close, I have no idea what I have to fix. I see games recently featured with similar quality, but apparently they did something better that they will never specify. Wubby has pretty much the same problem, but at least the devs are self aware. People act like blockates limitations are what make it good, but I find it's systems to be hilarious stupid, specifically the stat system, which is so convoluted for no reason, while you can make games in wubby that can pass as fully fledged roblox games. OK MY GAME ISN'T "POLISHED ENOUGH?!" WELL CAN I AT LEAST HAVE A STAT GIVER THAT ACTUALLY YOU KNOW, GIVES STATS, SO I DONT HAVE TO MAKE A 10 STEP SYSTEM JUST FOR SOMEONE TO SELL A GODAM BOX. And people complain that WUBBY is too complicated! If probably still be on blockate if they actually told me the exact problems with my game so I could fix it until it was feature worthy, instead of just saying it needs more "polish". Blockate is also a sucker for hyper detail, which in my opinion, looks like vomit in almost every case, especially for nature. And it means you can't make a big game and also have it featured since you'd need to add "detail" at every square inch. Even great ROBLOX GAMES struggle to reach the amount of detail needed to get featured in blockate. Also i know i might sound slightly narcissistic, but i genuinely get really sad and tear up every time i think about the failure that is delivery not guaranteed. At least the wubby version got featured. :)
its a sandbox or a dumbed down roblox i lowkey would believe anybody new to it should quit because the community is extremely fucked up with very scattered moderation
"have you been active on blockate" no i have been banned 1 year ago because a admin told me to shut my mouth and i didnt and then he perm banned me tried appealing and they just laughed at me like im a joke. blockate will never be revived.
