Years ago here in the states I worked for a short time at an industrial cleaning company. Watching you lance pipes clean is awesome. But to power wash the concrete driveway apron is wonderful. What a way to make the client happy. Well done sir. We had blasters in the 40,000 psi range. I never used those. My limit was about 20,000 psi and lower. Love the videos. Once again well done sir.
I know it might sound weird, but your videos make me wanna get into this profession. This looks like 'fun' or something I wouldnt mind doing everyday for a living. Great work on the vids I love watching them!
@@aidanpienaar1454 I know, but I find when you have an outlet with a lot of leaves, dirt etc. It's better to have a smooth poly pipe as the leaves and dirt don't settle in the ridges of the corrugated pipe.
Wonder how many clients could be upsold on pressure washing their sidewalks and driveways. Seems like a good fit since you have most of the gear on hand!
I’m a theatre nurse and we have to wear double gloves and mask and eye protection. When we first started double gloving it felt unnatural but because you have no choice you just have to suck it up. But we have become used to it. I know your eye wear feels claustrophobic but you just have to force yourself to put it up when you turn the machine on. You must look after your health.
*I love your drain videos....but I can't with the powerwashing. I used to powerwash. Hog houses...cattle buildings...chicken houses...sidewalks..regular buildings... My cringe factor on the missed spots had my OCD on overdrive. Try a fan tip instead of a turbo tip for powerwashing. Love ya!!!*
(Tribute to Apocalypse Now) Drain Addict: You smell that? Do you smell that? Sewage, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of sewage in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like . . . victory. Someday this war's gonna end.
Do you ever use a small net to clean the debris out of the pit or sweep the puddle away, in the street? People in the old days cleaned out catchments of collected debris.
6:40 No Junk Mail. Would coupons be considered junk mail in that part of Australia? I don't mind getting coupons for McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, local Supermarkets, etc. Just don't want mail from people/charities asking me for money or other groups that "can't wait to give me money" like PCH.
Horrible design, insufficient fall like you said. I would think the only economic way to solve that problem would be to install a pump and pump it out to the street when the basin fills to a certain level! But even with that it would breed mosquitoes.
Yeah, when these instances happen the right way to handle it is to install a sump with a pump. Where I live we also utilize French drains alot but then again we don't have near as much rainfall as they probably do.
What a bizarre set up, are these oversized chambers common in Australia? I'm assuming they are to trap sediment? Why do they need such massive grids on top? Don't they breed mosquitos?
You can tell by his technique it's the first time he's doing power washing on concrete stick with unclogging blocked drains you're so much better at it.
