The city I worked for had an in house sewer replacement crew, I was in engineering, mapping and leveling. Occasionally they would mess up a gas line to a residence, the line had to pass a leak-down test to get it back on, and those old homes had swiss cheese for pipes, our poor in house plumber was caught in the middle of those messes. Bubble gum patch and turn on the gas LOL.

Penetrator I want to know is it true this is just what I heard mind ya that when you were young you hated playing so much you quit school on count of recess mate because you don't play. I live in Canada and we are told not to pour the fat down the drains and that is why I use a tin can like a old soup can to pour the fat into when cooking and I have never had a blocked drain because of it but I'm sure there are people that just find it easier to pour it down the drain instead.

Embarrassing incompetence in placing insufficient pipes and failing to glue them together.

My mother taught me to never put grease down "any drains"...she learned that from her mother. We always had a 5 gallon bucket for grease, that eventually went to the landfill.

Roaches I hate roaches😖😖😖 I never saw a roach til I was in my 50’s. Neighbor had them. Maintenance guys were sooo 😖😖😖😖😖😖😖😖 appliances were thrown out and so were the tenants.

I'm glad that i never put cooking grease or oil or fat down my drains, i collect it all into plastic tubs with lids and freeze it. then when it's full i throw it in the garbage. I'd say almost 99% of it stays out of the drain.
