As soon as the camera got to the city mains, it looked like the scene from Ghost busters, when the slime was flowing throughout New Your city. Funny stuff! Good work mate!
Years ago, a neighbor had a 'Blocked Drain' and they called the City. The City sent out a HUGE Vacuum Truck to suck the City Main Sewer Line in the street. It literally sucked the water from my toilet, that was close to the street. The City Sewer Line was fine, it was the neighbor's sewer line! They eventually called a Plumber, after the City came out 3 times! I wonder if the City sent the neighbor a bill, or the City refused to respond to their address (Blocked)?
@@alansmith4734 OK.That makes sense, San Antonio is a populated area in one of the most flash-flood prone regions in North America. Good response in seeing to blocked drains there is key to the health and safety of you folks. Yes indeed, people should be charged for frivolous public service calls. I watched an emergency services utube channel were one fellow had called the UK version of Obamacare for emergency medical airlift 25 times falsely claiming severe pain and potentially life threatening injuries to get opiates from the medical crew. The film crew mentioned they were considering how to handle his next call as he was being discharged from hospital with a clean bill of health after extensive testing.
Yesterday in the States Oklahoma the entire neighborhood of 20 homes main line Backed up yesterday. The city had to jet The MAIN LINE. Toilets and bathtubs full in 2 homes. Feces coming back Up. In my area it's ROTO ROOTER. Had to open 2 city Manholes and bring a big city jetter truck Vactor. It took 8 hours to get everything completely unclogged. WIPES &WOES I named it 3-22-2022 was the date.
3 hours? It takes 3 days for anything to happen in Plymouth! We have 1 hour of the same crappy 'music' on every helpline, then we get sent to different departments, then once we're speaking with the correct person we can't understand them because they've got the microphone in their mouth, then it's a race of "ok we'll have someone out next week". In the meantime there's a river of 💩 running down the street, potholes for years, no electricity or anything else that's wrong! Rant over about the UK. Ollie, you're awesome 😃👍
Excellent work! I do secretly hope we get more long episodes, I would even watch a whole hour long one. I have my own private playlist full of my favourite Drain Addict videos I always just sit and binge watch on slow days at the shop. 👍🐀

Do your customers either know you or have watched your videos? A lot of them don't seem to be weirded out with their drain guy talking to plastic animals. You have pleasant city workers too.
Customer support telephone in Australia is just as hideous and frustrating as here in the USA. "Your call is important to us, that's why we're going to put you on hold and tell you about our web site".

Liked how they sent you a work order to cover the cost to the owner. I had a plumber charge the local council here 3 times before they came out and checked there line and then they replaced it.

8 apartments. mine is on the end where the access to the drains is. Every time something got blocked, my tub got filled with unprocessed sewage. I am so glad to have a house now.

Oh I completely lost it. When you called and baby you rat's voice and they hung up I was in the middle of a swig of wine and let's just say my nose Burns now. My friend Andrew works for a Plumbing Service here in the States called Roto-Rooter I sent him this video and he said he'll have to remember that the next time he's on hold for an hour haha
