Here I am, a 70 year old woman in Florida, waiting for the first hurricane to cause us some extra rain, watching a man in Auz clear drains. I enjoy your videos so much!
as long as you remember to check message and call them back, that evening/next morning. yeah, I suck at that part, but I refuse to answer with hands coated in slurry or when trying to use it for a manual/documentation/photo of data plates! an hour job can quickly become five if on the phone/interrupted often.
looks new, but still smells like the same old grease and poo. 🤪 ahh the joys of drain/septic/grease trap cleaning, nothing will ever remove the scent except aging in time with lots of air flow.🤢🤮
Ollie what can I say. You are a master of your craft. I'm also a fellow plumber in the states. I've done all phases of plumbing. One of the most interesting was drain cleaning. No sewer back up was ever the same. I do love the tools you're using. Really cool. Another thing I've learned is the basics of plumbing have remained the same for the last several thousand years. I also love your sense of humor. It takes a special kind of person to do what we do. Thanks Steven J Keyer USA
Everything you went through with giant roots and the rest of it in this video, Ollie, made 'The Day Of The Triffids' look like a children's picnic! I was certainly 'rooting' for you to come out on top and so glad you didn't lose anything like the awesome DC-43! I was getting worried towards the end when it looked like the DC-43 was trapped in a dank watery grave. That really would have made that boundary trap a 'pit of despair'. Well done, Ollie, great job done!
DA powers through a blown out boot, spewing sewage, a stuck cutter, and multiple blockages. He’s just unstoppable. Best channel on RU-vid! Cheers from South Florida.
Great video Ollie, just your average day in the neighborhood,Steve looked like he was really enthused about the whole thing.kudos to you sir 👍👍👍😎😎😎🧻🧻🧻🐁🐁🐁
Thanks to watching enough of your videos I've learnt not to have my stomach turn in knots at the sight of horribly blocked drains. Thanks for the upload.
@@eisbeinGermany Same. I've heard people say "just breathe with your mouth"... but I imagine that would only help so much... as those kind of fumes could go for your eyes etc.
@@ReinMixTapeEventually you get used to the smell, so if a plumber ever says something smells awful believe them haha. Ive also heard people say “smells like money” (Makes them a living!)
Awesome work Ollie! The specimenes you take out from those pipes were out of this world! Keep those drains flushing! Greetings from Argentina!! and god bless you for being a such wonderful man. Allways ready for work, and going beyond the line to get the job done!
CR38.. torpedo! Btw I'm somewhat new. Love to watch a good man working a 💩 job! 😉 You wear it sometimes, like I use to wear moo moo poo, from a good coated tail swung across my face while giving some good squeezes. I think I've actually watched back to back at least 100 videos of yours so far. I never get tire of your job, love your standby crew too😂 an when your son comes to work with you, I love that your patience is good. Having any child work for what they want just molds them into better children to become better adults. God bless you! I remember when our septic needed cleaned out, at least every 12 months. My face was always over the hole . We had a homemade one as we lived out in the country. 23 kids an was finally down to 11 with the new septic. The old farm was outhouses, 3 seaters. Winters were a bit rough but it's what we had. Anyway, I kinda wish I'd actually learned the trade because maybe it would have kept me busier rather than just the milkman's daughter 😉 Have a lovely night. Stay blessed❤ Annette
So many tricks of the trade. I bet there are guys out there in the trade that learn from this channel. As for me just amazed at the kinds of issues there are when dealing with blocked drains!!! Cheers Ollie and we push on to 1 Million subscribers!!!
Another great job, Oliver! Ollie Ollie He’s our man If he can’t unclog it No one can! I about lost it when the water put a hole in your boot! Just imagine what it could do to your foot!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Poor Oliie! What a swine of a job! Never seen so many roots - especially that first bit that was pulled out! He always gets there in the end though! 👍💪
I just recently started watching and it blows my mind that the drains for the house and storm water are connected and just open to the outside. It's separate here. Good for business I guess :D
Wow 😳now that’s was a lot of specimens you fished out. I was worried that you might loose your DC43 but you got it back. You’re a mighty drain warrior Ollie and a can do attitude I applaud you Sir. No drain too tough Sir Oliver and may you have a Blessed One Sir.
Ollie at least ya had a clean one today, I had to clear 180 foot of grease trap line and the grease trap hadn’t been pumped out since 2007!! Strange how I do it all day and then watch you do it at night 😂
Ollie fantastic job on clearing the drain lots of roots plus wipes Steve was awesome to help you out with the job all good mate si u on the next one 🐀🐀🐀👍👍👍👍👍
It’s been a while Since we’ve seen the good ol DC43, almost forgot how incredibly powerful that nozzle is! Excellently work as always Ollie, that one was pretty full of all the fun stuff, roots, wipes, unmentionables.. lol
@Drainaddict Ollie, I like the sound of the new jetter. It doesn’t surge while it idles like the last two. Must be a major upgrade they did. Hope it gives you years of faithful service!
Ollie, I just wanted to say you should tell people about your merch! I know you're humble and don't want to impose. I ordered a Drain Addict Hoodie a few days ago and It came today! pretty happy about it, although I have mixed feelings about the sparkling piece of corn in the design lol.
That's ok. I have built my own jetter for my septic system. The county has mandated a filter on the out flow leading to the weeping bed. If I'm late pulling the cover and cleaning the filter it blocks up and pushes back into the house so solids lay there. My better is not as powerful as you're but it works thanks to you.
When the first lot of crap spilled from out of that vent pipe in the first few minutes my dog farted at precisely the same time and I thought for a moment you tube had brought out smellavision!!
When something is given commercial use (all day, every day) it doesn't take long to wear out- even commercial-grade equipment, and Ollie said that jetter was about 2 or 3 years old. Time flies! @@Bo88y22
Looks like your going to need a tube of black RTV silicone shoe repair for that boot Ollie. Cure time is 1 hour. Firemen do it all the time. Patch 'em like a bicycle inner tube. Root and wipe infested drain but no match for your determination in getting and jetting. Love it how you hold it like you caught a big fish! Fantastic filming work Ollie.
I’ve watched enough DA to say to myself don’t put the big head through that trap!! Right on cue, it gets stuck. I’m addicted too. So grateful you got it out
I tell you what brother , in 17 years of plumbing I have snakes a lot of drains , here in the US we use Mainly k-50 drain snakes with steel cables . My company has a Jetter but the machine is about the size of your van that you drive . And is in a van about 3 times yours and has a 250 gal onboard water tank. Sadly it doesn’t get used that much and I have asked for training on using the jetter but they haven’t done it yet or maybe have not had time to teach me. If you came to the US and started a company you would make a lot of money and I would like to work for you and learn your secrets. Much love brother 🐺❤
