This is a terrific marriage of Blondie's, Deborah Harry with an orchestra! I can feel the excitement of all their efforts playing together. It must be wonderful to play along with one of your favorite singers. A true masterpiece!!! The audience is obviuously very into the show as well.
I just love Deborah Harry ..... this is a great performance! She's classy ..... and with the orchestra (who are really into it), takes "Call Me" to a whole new level!

@@mahcem I never said she wasn't good. And, yes. I understand the tribulations of vocal performances. I also understand that time effects everyone. I, as an aging singer, felt comforted that even a superstar like Debbie Harry has had to bow to the passage of time. It can't be avoided. It's not a critique on her performance or quality of her singing. It was literally an inspiration that I wasn't the only singer whose voice has changed as growing older. I love Debbie Harry!!! ❤️ I'm sorry if you misunderstood.
The producers of an American Gigolo couldn't have picked a better band to handle that musical score of that classic film, than BLONDIE, still holds up today and forever!!! Rock on Deborah!!!

holy shit this is fucken amazing. The orchestra mixed with her vocals are badass. I love this version more than the studio recording, her more mature voice goes so well with the orchestra and gives it an awesome tone
In a way, this is absolutely bizarre. Yet, it has to be one of the best performances of that song, ever. LOL Wow. So strange that she's solo since that was the start of the Blondie reunion, too. Great to see this. She looked and sounded fantastic. And that audience looks like a ball. Even the orchestra (!) was really into it and sneaking glimpses at Debbie. She IS cool

She was aged 52 here, she'd just had a facelift and looks absolutely stunning. During this same period she was working on the Blondie reunion album...just a great period for this lady.
And, I still can't understand why she had that facelift, when seeing her 2 years earlier, there was NOTHING wrong w/ her looks. Thankfully, she hasn't done it since, supposedly. She had good (Scottish) genes, to begin with.

There are elements of Ms. Harry that are far sexier and more in charge of herself than ever in her at this age and now.. I'm quite impressed! Those Dutch teens are having a blast and it makes me happy to see it! Go Debbie!
