You see that quite often with poplockers. Seems to be a more relaxed breed. My guess is: Although you need to find your own style and need to keep some parts of your routinge "secret" for a while, I think in this world it is incredibly important to watch fellow poppers to get ideas and inspiration. And you won't get that if you shun everybody. I am pretty sure these two were exchanging moves after the match.

Put a HUGE smile on my face. Blondy was incredible, but DAMN some of the stuff JaJa was doing at the beginning - looking like stop frame animation! Pop frame animation ;o) Fantastic pair of dancers, amazing to watch, and just there for the joy of it, no competitive nonsense. Love it!

As an old dude, I remember being 16 and clearing the dance floor as me and my brother robotted to Blue Monday. People used to make a circle around us, and we'd invite them in one by one until everybody had joined in. I'm not sure why RU-vid suggested this video, maybe it knew I was a dope robot :p But this was awesome, seeing talent and creativity bringing a diverse community together. Loved it!!

I remember seeing some insane animators on the show, So You Think You Can Dance. Some of the older seasons have some just incredible human movement in all genres of dance. Seriously great performances. You have to go through a lot of the episodes to find the standout dances. Worth it.

Since this is my Era, born and raised in Harlem. Danced professionally and taught..... Blondy was more mechanical, as whereas, Jaja was traditional and fluid with his moves and, most importantly, with the Music. What he displayed was TRUE Popping and Locking excellence of the genre. I've noticed this before when white girls enter black dance competitions. The whites are precise and conscientious and ... predictable. The blacks are more chaotically creative. Same with cagefighting.

Jaja was an alien robot from another dimension. Spellbinding. Blondy was brilliant too but jaja took that. Easily. Watch this on a big telly. There it is..
