Tip: if there is ever cav, become a ranker. I say this because the bayonet on the musket does a 1hit kill on horses. This tip was generally for beginning players hope it helped u out. Press X for bayonet.ONLY WORKS ON RANKER
Ploopy I would prefer a pike for purely anti cavalry but I like to use line infantry because I get a good gun too. If you are using a bayonet, a horseman can still hit you while you take his horse out, but if you have a pike or lance you can unseat a rider without running the risk of being hit.
I know I'm late, and this isn't really advanced, but I have a tip. Never underestimate people who play this game. They're more often than not extremely smart at strategizing.
Tips: When your getting chase by a sap use musket to speed and if the saps use hammer while chasing you, quickly bring out your sword/sabre and rush to the sapper and hit while hes using his hammer.
I will use this tip but except the musket run while being line infantry because the line musket may be good and out run the hammer there is a chance for the sap to catch with me by doing tactics to make him catch up the light musket and rifle is good enough to outrun the hammer
Extra tip: you build higher walls, what I call “shelling bunkers,” if you dig a large dirt mound and put large sandbag walls on top of the mound to protect friendly infantry (and yourself) from incoming canister and roundshot fire. You can also build “pit bunkers” by building wooden walls on top of the dirt mounds instead of sandbags to protect friendly infantry (AND YOURSELF) from incoming enemy musket and rifle fire. You can combine both of these building sets to build “war trenches,” which are useful on long range maps like the river camps or the hilltop camp. There’s usually gonna be at least 1 cannoneer per team (people be like that sometimes) during those battles, and a whole lot of cavalry spam for sure (toxic nobodies). Build the shelling bunkers to guard friendly infantry (И ТЕБЯ) from cluster and round shot from enemy cannons, and the pit bunkers to protect from enemy infantry fire. Round it off with some soup (Gabions) to close gaps in your defenses, bowling alleys (walls built perpendicular around the sights of friendly cannons to protect cannoneers but not restrict friendly cannon fire, be sure to protect flanks with spikes), and spikes placed at all fronts and flanks to protect against enemy cavalry and fend or scare off enemy infantry. What you have is an extremely effective set of entrenched defenses that protect friendly firing positions that are easy and relatively safe to fire from, and are a nightmare to enemy troops when attacking from all attack positions, Skirmishes (enemy is at least 75 to 200 meters downrange), Advances (enemy is within 30 to 75 meters), or CQC (Close Quarters Combat usually occurs indoors but can sometimes erupt in overwhelmed entrenched positions or courtyards, enemy is within 1 to 30 meters downrange).
Thanks Art, I appreciate it man I really do. (Personally I'm not trying to grow my channel much and I didn't want skit to advertise my channel. Skit just kinda did it without me knowing. I just want to help skits channel grow. But thank you anyway!)
tip: if you are a rifle and your uniform is a shade of green, then you can camouflage into bushes and once I got an enemy who didn't even know I was there even when he was like 5 feet away from me, no cap
Doesn't matter, my strategy I put up for that isn't to get up in his face because yes it swings faster but at the same time you wanna get out of combat with a decent amount of health left. You want to hit and run and or get the jump when meleeing a sapper. It's actually pretty bad for you if you get up too close in their face. (watch from 7:12 I'm talking about something like that.)
but the axe is a two hit kill, even if you kill the sapper, you'll most likely be with really low health, also i dont think the swing is fast enough for you to hit the sap and get away before he hits consistently, but thats up to skill
I got a clutch with a bayonet, both of them had loaded muskets and they both shot... and missed, so one tried to reload and i went over and tried to kill them which made the stop reloading, they told me to press B and i said no. So i killed one of them, and then charged in to the other one, THEN, another one came, and one more hit could kill me, so i was like “ I have nothing to lose” so i charged in, and won. And the chat went wild.
The bridge of arcole is a special place. I remember once (I was like 8 bacl then) when I was playing on it and the server glitched or many people left and there were only 2 people on the enemy team while we were full, so we thought "oh we got this" and every body just charged at them in a straight line from across the bridge and died. I am still ashamed to this day.
when im the soup man and im the only man left in the team and they have like 4 people and imcamping in the corner with my stand. i usually just go crazy with that axe like the tomahawk scene in the patriot. then i take the 4 people out and make our team win while my whole team is shouting "JUST GIVE UP!" but i wont give up.
I am a Cavalry. I love lancer. I named a team the Winged Lancers lol. Im one of the most annoying guy ever. I like playing a musician. And i control what attacks i use. Professionals have standards, be efficient, be Smart. Its a good work.
Ninja0703 Jung I mean where both forces are in the open I would aim for people who are stationary or about to fire. Also use the bodies of your comrades as cover because there’s no way you’re not gonna take any casualties in open engagement
tip: f your an rifle and you fired and the enemy saw you i reccomend reloading then after you did that try to run and not get seen and make sure you're far from where you were bc it tends that the enemy will charge at the place where an enemy was last seen then ambush them. This won't save your life but you might change the tide of the battle...
One tip for dragoon’s if u flank try to use ur horse as a shield bc u have a gun so u really don’t need a horse but what I do if I see a tree I would put my horse behind I would shoot reload until some teammates push up to push with them
Yeah I noticed that when I charged at a big british group in La Haye Sainte they kept hitting each other and I got away seeing that they were still hitting each other lmao....
Thanks skit for giving me the chance to do this. And also thanks for spelling my name right this time... Oh and this video wasn't scripted I said this all off the top of my head. So sorry if I messed up on pronouncing things.
Extra tip on Bridge Of Arcole: Block the bridge with barricades chevaux and more to stop the enemy from charging in and sometime later our teammate will sneak then win
THAT LANCE HUSSAR TIP WORKS SO WELL I TRIED IT BUT I DIDN,T TAKE IT FROM my friend I just stole it from a dead enemy hussar Lance+hussar horse=SUPER OP
I played on La Rothiere and got 1 round An Axe and a Knife, the 2nd I got a Scythe and a Knife, the 3rd I got a Branch and a Knife, my tactics stayed the same every round, get close with the Knife, switch, destroy.
4:58 I felt that... But seriously tho why do some shots just not do anything to the enemy when the bullet clearly hit them? Lag? Glitch? Random 0% accuracy?
3:11 This actually happened to me, I was in a house and the entire Brunswick Ducal Corps charged into the house, and I was able to melee kill all of them because they kept stabbing eachother. I thankfully clipped it.
sappers have been nerfed they are easier now because their range is low. all you have to do in a melee fight is circle enemy on right side because everybody is right handed and their weakside is the right side ( meaning your right) and stabbing the arm with a fully charged slice deals lots of damage and once you hit you want to walk back and maybe if you get lucky they will miss
I tried to do the Hussar and Lancer horse switch, and the first time I tried it, I got about 12 kills and everyone was calling me an exploiter. Try it, I promise you it's worth it.
Skit is it good to use shift camera lock and u can mass spawn cav on beginging of the gamr by resseting in first few seconds that means lancer will have hussar horse and maybe some more lancers and u will get to keep urs
@@SkitGaming i got used to shift lock and its easier to play for me (everyone has their opinion) and i usualy mass spawn horses for them you also can take another partisan gear by doing rhe same thing like whit horses if u make advanced tips part two put in the horse spaming and partisan geae changing
Never trust musicians of the enemy. I've seen some fifers kill a group of people on their own because the group let their guard down thinking said fifer is defenseless
We already showed the square formation in the 1k sub special. Not to mention with the accuracy of the muskets in Blood and Iron it makes it hard to be in square without just being murdered.
Man, seeing a rifleman with a sword is so refreshing. Now it’s just a sword bayonet 😞. Also, you won’t be able to shoot people across the bridge or any other maps where the spawns are vertical to each other. Something to do with you can’t hit your opponent if they are 80+ studs away.
