Oh I forgot to comment! I’d love to see you take on either some outriders, or some type of transport vehicle with maybe some intercessors? And for example, with the outriders, they have saddle bags hanging off the bikes like a mobile armoury, ready to resupply units with weapons or ammo if they are needed.

Congrats on two years Mike!! As a fellow Blood Angels player I love playing and painting Aggressors, Bladeguard Veterans and a Judiciar. I think these would all be fantastic additions, especially the Bladeguard as they are probably my favorite unit that I've ever painted! 🩸

To be fair, an isolated part of a chapter needs some auxiliary force, alien, I would totally see a knight be apart of the forces still trying to survive, or two helverines left for dead when the blood angel saved them from the arch enemy. Very cool work - I subbed! Have an awesome week

Bro that army looks sick af. I'm just getting back into 40k after 20 years and taking my first steps at painting. I played Blood Angels back in the day so your videos are a huge help and inspiration. I'm in love with the Blade Guard models and have already been thinking about painting them in Death Company colours. I think it could also work with your lore: As more and more brothers fall to the black rage, they get to keep their gear and armour, both out of nessecity and to honour them. It's a bit tricky rule wise, but if your group is cool with it, just run them as death company intercessors. Alternative background for the same colour scheme: They are regular blade guard but these veterans have painted their armour in the colours of their fallen brothers to honour their deaths and to reflect how dire their situation is.

I’ve always been a fan of the Terminators, and with the Leviathan box being so popular you should be able to find some of the easy build Terminators cheap online.

Brother Chaplain Dilios. Named after Dilios from 300, the survivor who is telling the story. Perhaps the story of this Blood Angels force is already dead and gone and Brother Chaplain Dilios is telling how his Brave Captain and the few Angels that he fought with to save this world through duty and sacrifice.

@@flashingbadgerpainting I do, its the replacements of the 4th company of the Blood Angels after the battle of Baal. It is almost all Primaris with my veterans in Terminator armor and an old dreadnought.
I liked but forgot to comment the video ! First thing's first : they all look GLORIOUS ! For a next unit I would love to see how you'd make the Sanguinary Guard look grimdark with their golden armors ! And for the Chapelain's name, that's a tough one... Something finishing in "el" like most of angelic ones is a bit "déjà vu" (haha i managed to put some French in that comment !), (and now you have the song "Déjà vu, i have been to this place before !" in your head !), (And I really need to stop with those parenthesis), (for real !). Same with typicaly italian of the classical era names. Mmmm... Why not something inspiring fear in the heart of the ennemies ! I suggest Phobos Angoscia ! Just built my blood angels patrol pack. I am scared to paint, lol. I spent money on an airbrush, and now i am even more freaked out of using it. Are there any tips getting over this fear haha no but seriously. 😂
Absolutely! My way of overcoming that issue is to also get my hands on some cheap second hand models that won’t end up being in my army. Zero pressure, just practice on them first. Have a play with different styles and identify and iron out any issues and then you will be pumped to start on your patrol pack 😀 Also I recommend joining our discord 😎 there’s heaps of us in there that will be able to help you out with tips, tricks and support.

Absolutely! These ones are from Archie’s Forge online store. They are named as inferno pistols and plasma pistols and also there are a bunch of power fist options. Let me know how your squad turns out!
@Michaelkayslay haha nah it’s more that I paint so few models now that each squad can get a little extra love. For sure check out Etsy and also 3D files sites to see if there’s something similar but a friendlier cost 👍 Most custom parts I use are from more affordable sites as well.
I don’t mean to be that guy but a normal captain on jump pack can’t lead death company according to the rules, however the idea of an entire platoon of them you’re going with is awesome. Like the image of a Chaplin leading TEN raging power armored warriors is terrifying!
Oh you’re right!! I had in my notes that I was going to paint a squad as normal jump intercessors and when it came time to actually make them I went “pfft, that must be a typo! More death company it is!” What do you recommend I have him attached to? Jump Intercessors?
@@flashingbadgerpainting Well since he’s our warlord for this army he can be attached to sanguinary guard, veteran jump packs, or normal jump pack. depends on what you want to lead to the lore of this army, but it may make more sense to have lead veteran jump pack.
Question, could the Chaplin attack with both the crozius and power fist? I know it can field both at the same time but doesn't say "Extra attacks" so would you just have to choose which to attack with that turn?
