They are worse than night lords, they literally ate an entire imperial army regiments, their own fallen and POW infront of an enemy that they were besieging
@@walt_man it's not in any of the HH books that I know of its History in the old Black Books specifically Book 8 I think. Occulus Imperia does too Blood Angels Legion videos that are really good and get into there history and role in the Ctusade and Heresy.
Stormcast are a great source for Blood Angels characters and elites (they'd probably suit Emperor's Children and Alpha Legion choices too) I'm using a couple I found on ebay where older models (mostly the introductory pushfit and the later legs & torsos from bits resellers) are going cheaper since last year's AoS Dominion release of the newer, taller, thinner redesigns.
First in line to tell MAC to: _"Clear The Area........No Traces........Get The (Men!) Ready To Move."_ ("Hey Billy...... BILLY!!.....") *(Absolutely LOVING this series of Vids so far, Macca......keep up the great work!;O)=*~*
While I have two 5-man units of Angel's Tears, the Volkite as well as the grenade ones that Forgeoworld makes, I decided to kit bash my own 10-man unit of autocannon Angel's Tears. I used Mk III marines, 3-d printed Mk IV jump packs, Stormcast Eternal heads and FW rotor guns. I probably saved around $100 US on the unit, maybe less, but it was a fun project that I wanted to do even though I could have afforded the actual FW models for those.
Any thoughts on using the 40k style Blood Angels insignia on 30k Blood Angels marines? For example the display model on Forgeworld for the Iliastus Pattern Assault Cannon has what looks like a regular 40k BA icon on it. So seems alright? Edit: I'm mostly talking about transfers, as you recommend using the plastic upgrade parts in the video already.
The first guy would make a great librarian consul. That axe is just some converion bits away from being a stave, the back banner tinted blue is a resonance tool as well as the little dangly shields. Hes not infallible, but it is something to work with. As the for the other guy, i see a master a signals. Give hime a flare gun replace bits on the backpack with comms antenna. Replace the gun arm with a primaris comms arm and replace the noggin with a bar head or rangefinder helm. They got potential.
Their rules make them redundant. They get bonuses for being outnumbered but because they're bulky (2) models it's rare that they'll actually benefit from the bonuses as if they're fighting that many models the bonuses aren't gonna help them.
@@halo37721 The only thing they get is FNP if they are outnumbered, you can just run with primus medic for that. I mean the rest of the stats and items they can take are good so I still feel it's not enough of a reason to call them bad. Thanks for the reply btw!
Both have their place. Personally, I prefer Tartaros with lightning claws. And Ctaphractii to hold that sweet assault cannon when it goes BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
I know this is not blood angels related, but it relates to the dark angels ravenwing. I want to add a few bikes to my force. I was wonder if buying the 40k ravenwing attack bikes, and change around the heads, and packs might make them look good for heresy.
That yellow Praetor model is terrible. The arm pose being straight up is so shit. The sword is way too big. It's beyond being cool. It's just shit. The head is one of the worst GW has ever made. Having a plume head thing on a naked face is cancer. Body is fine. Generic space marine.
