I know it’s a lot, but try to make a whole video on explaining the whole storyline, perhaps do it on the whiteboard and include cutscenes and videos from the storyline, this will help people to understand and help figure out more theories / mysteries
Milo I have not been able to keep up with zombies because of college, orgo is tough. Can you make a video of a thorough recap of the storyline of bo1 bo2 bo3 and how this final ending of richtofen ties in please?
I think the real villain/hero of this whole thing is that very first Richtofen we see waiting for the Primis Crew in the lab. When they arrive, he gives BotD Richtofen the blood vials because that's their insurance policy should they fail their quest, but then gives him the Kronorium which seemingly says that he (BotD Richtofen) will need to sacrifice himself to break the cycle. BotD Richtofen is not pleased with this news, thus why he throws the Kronorium at that first Richtofen before he walks through another portal. So he's a hero in that he realizes what must be done to break the cycle, but is the "villain" because he will not do it himself. Which also brings up another aspect of this story: Richtofen really knows about everything concerning the cycle and is just too stubborn to die. He'd rather live an endless cycle of pain and torture than give up his immortal soul. How can we gather this from the intro? Well, it seems that the first Richtofen was waiting in the lab specifically for the reason of making sure the blood vials were passed on. If that is the case, then he knows about the impending battle with the Shadowman, the meeting with Dr. Monty, and that they will inevitably end up back in time during the great war. They start the cycle over, going through The Giant, Der Eisendrache, and Zetsubou. When they leave for Alcatraz (per ending dialogue at the end of Zetsubou), Richtofen will let the rest of the crew go on ahead while he waits back at the lab to make sure the next group can get theirs. Instead of entering into the unknown without direction and control, he's created this time loop of him and his comrades dying and surviving and dying again and again, always knowing that at the very least, the blood vials will save them from their fate. But is it their fate he's concerned about... or his? Which also begs another question: how many timelines of the Primis crew going through the cycle are really happening at the same time? You could argue that they're only taking place linearly, but if that were the case, then there'd be no need for Richtofen to wait for the next crew to come around. He truly is an interesting character.
In able for him to defeat dr Monty and save the universe he has to die and he’s trying to find another way without him dying that’s why he changes the kronorium
Im pretty sure the Edward waiting in the lab goes onto shadows of evil and has yet to start his journey. So the waiting Edward has already done origins, already trapped transit crew but goes onto get the key after that he goes to the giant to shoot himself and start the journey of bo3. That's what I saw in a video
He isn't MY hero/villain. To me, he is the hero of their trying to break the cycle, but he's the villain to the other Richtofens because yes he's discovered the pivotal point, but is not willing to take the fall for it. Which, of course, is a completely understandable and legitimate reason to give the responsibility to someone else: so he doesn't have to die himself. I'm not saying that it is the morally correct thing for him to do, but in his mind, he'd rather have someone else fix the problem by sacrificing their lives than his own.
I happened to catch your stream right before you all completed the easter egg and was there for your initial reaction. And Milo, i felt your reaction. Your passion for CoD zombies is applaudable. Keep up the great work, bruh.
So I don't know if you guys have noticed, but the richtofen in the der eisendrache Easter egg cutscene and the rest of BO3 has a scar and two bruises on his head. However this scar is also seen in origins. The richtofen who appears with the crystal in the blood cutscene also has the same markings on his face. However the richtofen getting killed in the machine has no scar, as well as shadows of evil Easter egg cutscene and the giant intro has no scar. Also the mob of the dead plane is in both of those maps. Is it possible that the two richtofens switched places before shadows and after the giant, then scar richtofen comes back to kill the giant richtofen in blood of the dead after the cycle is broken. If you don't understand I can try and clarify but that's my theory
TBGaming I think it was supposed to be an in depth thing but they failed to do it, I think that no scar Richthofen is supposed to be in der eisendrache, shadows and Zetsubō, then Gorod and Revelations would have a scar because I think Primis Richthofen (the one that died) is meant to be Shadows to Zetsubō as there’s no interaction to blood of the dead Richthofen until after Zetsubō, then he dies and BOTD replaces him
As we've heard, there's thousands of these guys doing the same, time and time again. When thinking about it, at anytime we could playing as any version of the Origins crew doing the same thing. The scared Edward is possibly one we started with.
My question is if Post Revelations Richtofen wants to defeat Dr. Monty, does he want to do it because he wants to be the one in power? Does he want to rule over everything like the Richtofen we knew from Black Ops 1? Or does he want to rule to get rid of all the evil doers, Shadow man, apothicons, all that lovely evil stuff.
I think it's pretty much that he just doesn't want to to be in this freaking shity cycle they're in. Before blood of the dead they were essentially stuck in the cycle of great war, then them dying from age or something, being born, origins and all the way to revelations And Ric. Knows it's happening. Monty didn't send them to a different dimension or something, he just sunt them back in time. Theoretically, this whole thing is just these four trying to live and stop killing zombies, I can't say they're doing this mission for the greater good because if they were they would'veust died after offing shadowman. I'm not sure wtf Monty wants but he's trying to do good at the very least so I'll take him over shadowman and Monty any day
@@seoluu9020 I agree with you, ultimately they just want to get out of this endless stream of fighting zombies and extra galactic threats like the apothicons and they want to be done with the keepers, Monty, all of it they just want to rid the universe of all of it and mend the original fracturing of dimensions that caused all this in the first place
I think primis richtofen is the evil one. He wants to turn the origins crew against monty because monty used him.( to set everything right). I think the origins crew will be confronted by monty in their dreams or somwthing and will re-remember their friend origins richtofen who sacrificed himself. I think the final map is the origins crew avenging richtofen's death by killing primis richtofen
They're no longer existing because of all of the souls are free and those were the things keeping that dimension stable. Now since all of them are free. The dimension is going to close, making pre-gorod Richthofen and the victis crew out of existence. There may be some way that they make a return but i doubt it

But wait milo, the Richtofen in blood of the dead is a totally new one just like the Richtofen you see in the intro cinematic. The “post revelations” Richtofen who has the fire staff crystal is in fact the Richtofen you play as throughout all of bo3 and you can tell all because of one minor detail, the fact that the Richtofen we know and love throughout bo3 has a scar underneath his right eye post de. Meanwhile the Richtofen you play as in blood of the dead does not carry the same scar as he isn’t the same Richtofen, the “post revelations” Richtofen does have this scar though.
I've been wondering this since I saw the video and noone seems to care... I was wondering if the field reports by dempsey in classified are all post rev dempsey and the rest of post rev primis are dead
That is such a good question and not enough people are wondering about it, but it would explain the note from Dempsey saying that he is the last one now
A cipher found in Rev is by "presumably" dempsy, saying all of his friends are gone/died and hes the last one. With Monty not knowing about the place he is in. My theory is that HE is a part of that crew that has post Rev Richtofen (one that appeared in blood) and the crew just... died. Making richtofen go to blood and take nik, tak and dempsy from there.
Why is everyone so sad about bo4 richtofen dying? I mean, we only control this richtofen for bo4. The "real" richtofen (post reveltations/bo3 one) is the one that leaves with the primis in the end.
The reason why everybody is so sad because we actually played as him from bo2 bo3 and bo4 and after all those dlc’s and zombie maps we began to start feeling empathy and respect for this player, and seeing him go just broke every bodies heart, with him being with us for so long.
Its not the richtofen we know from bo3, but its a close parallel. He had the same ambition and plan as the bo3 richtofen. We still have that attachment to him because of that.
You don't hear Stulenger's voice after Revelations(version 2) Richtofen wakes up...only for pre-Gorod (version 1) Richtofen. That's important. At the end the dimension is destroyed. That means the crew in cryostasis is dead as well, as is version 1 Richtofen. The Kronorium that they brought to hand to version 1 is now in the correct hands. Notice how version 1 Richtofen says he wanted to keep going; he doesn't want to die, and the only way to ensure he lived was to go to make sure that none of them have souls before the end and everyone has blood vials. Version 2 Richtofen understands now that the only way to win is to take things out of his hands, hence handing the Kronorium over to Nikolai, the last 1 still with a soul, hence his importance. Whatever happens going forward is unknown, but it looks like they all will finally have a chance to die for real.

To those who dont know how this affects Gorod Krovi and Revelations, the answer is simple... At least for time travel purposes. So the characters have not been introduced to Doctor Monty yet, other than Richtofen. They don't know who Monty is, explaining why Nikolai asks "Who?" when Post-Revelations Richtofen tells him the knowledge will be needed to defeat Monty. Nikolai needs to get his soul for the normal timeline loop to defeat the Shadowman in Revelations. HOWEVER, Revelations no longer exists. Because of the fracture in time taking place in Alcatraz, they wont go to Gorod Krovi to get Nikolai's soul. Now their goal is to defeat Monty, whom of which they dont actually know because this is a new loop.
Hmm...so Blood of the dead takes place before Gorod Krovi but for post revelations richtophen it takes place after setting the storyline in a new direction. So gorod krovi and revelations never happened from here. I think X.x
The richtofen that unfroze the other richtofen is not primis richtofen, it's a complete different richtofen. The one that was awoken out of cryo sleep is primis richtofen
The question I have is this: “Why does ONLY post-revelations Richthofen come through?” Is his goal here to break the cycle then return to the other post revelations crew and continue their path? Which would be chronologically sound considering we are still following our boys from revelations.

I knew the blood crew wasn't the original Primis, didn't know why people thought it was such a stupid idea, I just didn't think primis would show up in this map even if it's just one character
@@Kazual_D_Arty they look like them but are on a different path, think of them as primis 2.0. they're of a new cycle yet the original Primis never disappeared. So both primis can exist at once and even more primis than this if you can comprehend that.
The warden says that the characters wont die but instead be everlasting engines in his "machine" (dark mechanism) so all of Richthofen's blood wasn't drained... He could still be alive :o Also saw your reaction during the stream... I was pretty heartbreaking, especially for a person like you who has been there from the beginning... I felt the same and was tearing up because he really was the nicest. RIP

We have been trolled good. THE RICHTHOFEN we cried to, was not the real Richthofen, a small detail was that his scar is never in his right cheekbone. When Richthofen dies he doesn’t have the scar but the Past revelations ( The Richthofen that was in his primis clothes) was the real one. Richthofen the og had the scar since Der eisen, all the way to revelation but in BOTD he doesn’t. The Richthofen we see in the BOTD music video is the OG Richthofen, he took the stone, and after the cycle went back to the cryo chamber until he was free, he knew he had to break the cycle, we got baited thinking that the Richthofen that dies is another Richthofen. Still they did him dirty, but now I don’t feel as sad, but dam treyarch knew what they were doing. It’s just a speculation but Treyarch is not dumb enough to remove a scar that has been even in the Ultimus crew. Tell what u think. @MrRofflewaffles
Wait MrRoflWaffles, why is nobody speculating that the Templar Richthofen is the Richthofen we play as in Revelations. We haven't lost OUR Primis Richthofen. He takes the place of BOTD Richthofen in order to trick Monty. What happens to the rest of our Revelations crew is still a mystery but I truly believe that this new Richthofen is ours.
That was less of a question and more me pointing out that he did. The crew we play as in BotD is the crew from BO3, but a different version. The comics show us Richtofen going to Alcatraz and getting the blood vials from the version of him already there. After the Revelations ending, something happens to the BO3 Richtofen for him to end up frozen in Alactraz. Whatever happened for him to end up frozen also made changes to the timeline, which is why in the intro to BotD Richtofen expresses confusion as to why they weren't closer to the lab, then all hell breaks loose I think I got that all right. It was a brief recap of the video
No and I agree 100% I didn't hypothesize that to the full extent like you've explained but for the most part I was correct. And I think that that theory finishes what I was thinking so I would agree
ya im also confused, i thought that the richtofen that came from the freeze chamber was the one we have been playing with the whole time, but everyone is saying that botd richtofen is the one.
Okay, I have some questions. Nikolai still has the bullet hole in his vest/whatever he is wearing from 1.0 Nikolai. And I think I've heard a quote about Nikolai saying, "I miss the pipes." when going through the hell thing (Where you get the Hell's Retriever and Redeemer) and I think what he means by pipes is the pipes of transportation from Gorod Krovi or however you spell it... Someone explain?
Ok so basically I believe that this crew has already gone threw the cycle meaning they went to revelations and got sent back and lost their memory thus explaining the hole that ultimis nikolai gave to the primis Nikolai need more explaining?
If blood of the dead took place before gorod who’s the richtofen in gorod and revelations? And why would the new richtofen ( post revelations ) want to Go back in time when he’s already in the final place primis should be? These might sound stupid so educate me
Gorod and Revelations should no longer take place now, and they should be on a new timeline where the cycle is broken. This means Monty never sends them back in time. Post Rev richtofen may want to do this so they can break the cycle, and that the crew no longer has to live these events on repeat
