Why do the reference labs not have any reference range for young animals? It is frustrating when clients ask for a copy of the lab work and it shows all these "off" ranges thinking their puppy or kitten is not well.
they vary too much to make a "one size fits all" reference range for puppies & kittens...just explain to the client that the reference ranges are for average healthy ADULT dogs/cats
She says that hypercholesterol may be associated with high thriglicerides or low triglicerides - two different situation. There is a list for both cases.
