What's your favorite weapon in Bloodborne? Let me know down below! (Correction down below) I thought visceral damage was tied to thrust from what I read and was told during my run. Come to find out thrust damage doesn't matter at all. It's actually tied to thrust gems and that's what can affect your overall visceral damage (besides chr level and skill)
@@supercaptain9251 had to like this for it to be exactly 100 likes bro lol and agreed! My guy is crazy in the good way🤣 I could never do that shit lmao
Whoever made that tier list is definitely on crack. I’m definitely thinking there’s no comprehensive ranking within the tiers because while I do still think Riflespear and Reiterpallasch are amongst the worst weapons in the game, having used them myself, there’s no way in hell they’re worse than Parasite.
You can tell a tier list is bad when most of the things in it aren't in the B tier. That would imply weapons are either overpowered or suck. In Bloodborne's case that couldn't be further from the truth, weapons' strengths are quite close (Kos Parasite excluded).
That feeling of confusion you get when seeing Reiter and rifle spear being so low is the same feeling I get when I see you comment something as ignorant as rifle spear and reiter being better than parasite
@@berkebuskos parasite is dog shit and a joke of a weapon. Agree with everything else you said but you’re smoking hella crack if you think kos parasites strengths are even semi close to even the other d tier weapons
@@m00nbutter7dude did you watch the video? Kos parasite is the worst weapon in the GAME hands no debate. If you think it’s better then the rifle spear etc you’re either trolling or on drugs
You need a hug? I respect you, having the patience to beat the game 26 times with one only character and trying all the weapons of the game, it sounds like a real challenge. The most complicated part is that you didn't let yourself use the fire arms, that makes the game a lot harder (in my opinion).
Church pick is the strongest "underrated" weapon in the bb. I think it is known as "the" underrated weapon up to the point it is not even underrtaed. Bur C tier is diabolical...
"For the sake of my own sanity" I see we haven't been working hard enough at destroying that. Was fun seeing this madness, entertaining video as always because partway through and I've alread got a good few laughs in. Can't wait to finish this up. Here is your obligatory puns Even if it was Accain in a half at times it was all worth it. Also glade we finally saw you wielding A cane while fighting at castle Accain hurst.
Who ever was the original creator of that tier list has insane skill issue ranking churchpick and rapier pistol so low along with beast claw They are definitely the type of person to put dark souls 3 longsword at E tier dispite its mass versatility
It's tire list makers combined tire list. They take all the tire lists that are submitted and make it into one. Still crazy that Kos was above the rifle and Riter
Man, what a cozy reminder how peak BBs weapon and upgrade (gems) system was. The smaller, but super refined and unique arsenal is my favourite aspect of the game alongside the beautiful trick animations.
The blades of mercy are unique beacuse their running and roll attacks are the ones that do the most damage, making a hit n run playstyle very effective
As a die hard Beasthunter Saif Main. I can fully say all this list did was prove what ive always believed. the community doesnt know shit about ranking lol. Threaded cane in C? LOL yeah okay.
I used the Threaded Cane for my entire Second Playthrough. As a weapon starting out it's not the best but once you can get some upgrades and good Gems into it it's probably one of the most versatile weapons around. That shit was a godsend for the Beast Bosses and a really fun and surprisingly strong weapon overall.
I feel obligated to point out the L2 on the Moonlight isn't pure arcane there is a big thrust damage component there to. I think i even mentioned this during the stream.
How is nobody commenting about the fashionborne on this video, matching each weapon. Certainly one of the best videos I've seen on Bloodborne, it even inspired me to eventually try this myself
I learned so much with this video.. this it's the definitive proof that this game may have the best weapons in any FromSoft games. You are the future of challenge runners, man.. Keep pushing😃
I think an important thing to remember is that a lot of people also rate weapons based on PVP, so some weapons are better in PVP than PVE. Case and point, the blades of mercy aren't that good in PVE but godly in PVP
Having to rely on quicksilver bullets when using moonlight sword alternate form charged attacks is one reason a mana bar definitely shouldve been in Bloodborne, which would also be used for hunter tools With quicksilver bullets exclusively for guns and weapons with guns Also for the question of favorite weapon saw cleaver and saw spear(a little bit more visually appealing) and church pick
This was so wonderful! Awesome to see a comprehensive rundown of the strengths and weaknesses of every weapon in this game, I definitely appreciate how you were pretty objective about it too! Some people write items off, even having had a whole playthrough using it somehow. Shows off how great most of the weapons in this game are! (With at least one notable exception haha)
Another point not mentioned some weapons get a damage bonus when attacking after rolling or dodging and blade of mercy gets the most followed by the burial blade with Cane in 3rd with a couple others getting smaller bonuses here and there.
When I first played through Bloodborne it was when I had a week long internet outage so everything about my experience was blind and I grew really attached to of all things the rifle spear only to find out when my internet came back and I was ready to start NG+2 that seemingly everyone trash talked the rifle spear to hell and back and I'd never been so confused. This video has had the fist genuine positive comment on the rifle spear
Hello Accain, I'm sorry to say i didn't saw the streams since i haven't played Bloodborne and i dont want to spoil me anything, i will not see the video still, but I'll put it on repeat without sound and not seeing screen for the algorithm to detect 100% retention. You're the best and hope soon you get time to play shadow of the erdtree!
The normal R1s on the transformed stake driver actually dont deal thrust damage. I know its a shame i feel like they definitely should have. You also forgot to mention just how good the stagger potential is on the driver. Nothing else that fast staggers as much as it does. Its faster and gas more stagger than the cleavers
The Reiterpallasch is such a good weapon. You get a cool moveset with thrust damage, a less cool and R1 spam transformed moveset for the Beasthood build-up, it can be buffed with Fire/Bolt Paper and the Empty Phantasm Shell. I don't even think it's bad in PvP if anything it's considered cheap because it's so easy to parry with the transformation attack then one-shot them because you're using a Skill build. Oh, and it looks great too.
Nicely done work on this video, very fun to watch. I had a great time coming to the streams for this and loved the challenge! Awesome work on everything here, can’t wait for the next ones ✌️🤙
Might I suggest an challenge run "try all of the offhand weapon/gun on 1 character" for Bloodborne, you might find you like one of those over the other. I don't play Bloodborne (don't think I can handle the gameplay), but I found this to be an informative (and amusing) challenge run video.
The Church Pick was absolutely my favorite weapon so I’m flabbergasted how it ended up that far below the list other than people probably just didn’t use it and rated it lower than their popular picks. Thing has all the effective damage types in one weapon along with a quick moveset and papers. It’s the Arcanist dream for its versatility and a solid upgrade to the saw spear imo unless you really like the spear’s heavy attack. It’s easily my pick for best overall weapon in the game next to saw cleaver.
Nice to see this basically showing that every weapon is viable and you don't gotta worry to much about what you pick, just whichever is the most fun for you. Except parasite of kos, that ones just garbage
Thank you for this amazing video. Was glad to see all weapons tested and surprisingly it opened my eyes and my old way of t(h)rusting only tierlists for this game.
I did an arcane run and just for the fun of it decided to use the Tonitrus since the morning star was always my favorite Dark Souls weapon. I can confirm that with good arcane and the right gems that thing can pull out well over 700 damage when powered up, I think people just don't like it because it doesn't have any interesting gimmicks.
Funny that the two weapons with the fastest runs (Reiterpallasch and Rifle Spear) were also the only runs where you were able to parry. Almost like parrying is an important part of bloodborne :D Great video, great display of skiil, and I forever envy the people who have a PS4 (or 5) 'cause I can't play bloodborne until further notice without crime (and probably a GPU upgrade...)
Interestingly they only sped up the hunter fights besides that I had way faster kills with saw spear or beast hunter saif. Really the factor was dying less lol
I think something youve missed mentioning in a lot of these, but certain weapons are good because of their rally potential. Burial blade in trick form and well as holy moonlight have some of the highest rally in the game. They are built for trading blows with agressive bosses.
At first I noticed the rally potential in NG and NG+ but once I got to NG+4 and higher none of the weapons ever did any life saving healing. So I ended up always having to rely on vials. I understand their importance but I ended up never noticing it so I couldn't really have a say on ones that did it better than others.
@@AccainGaming i mean fair, but also to be fair most people wouldnt be going quite that far into ng+ even if they want to replay the whole game with a cool weapon so it can be an important factor in what makes a weapon good. Plus rally in general being such a core gameplay mechanic, it can be very important since it can make those slower weapons way better than they might seem otherwise. Plus like, the burial blade face tank build is just honestly really funny.
i love the threaded cane appreciation my fav weapon just so versatile does lack stun to my personal liking but outweighs it with all its other attributes
Love the effort thats gone into this. My only criticism is that you didn't start at NG+7 and max/even your skills first. Like, having a weapon that scales AR or BT in the early NG cycles when youre focusing SK/ST I feel is a massive oversight in being able to rank them equally against each other. MGS scales super well with Arcane and I feel like you missed it's full heft by having to use it so early. The Chikage with higher bloodtinge would've made a huge difference too. NG7 would have also meant you would have already had pretty decent gems you could swap out for consistency. But again, I commend the effort and time put in. I can sit here and talk about all the things I would do differently, but I could neeever. Still loved every second. Absolute champion. - Sincerely, a Blade of Mercy enjoyer (but scales BAD, so Saw Spear >>>)
My favourite weapon is the Beasthunter's saif, and I absolutely hate that the community has completely forgotten about it. It is very fun to barely avoid an attack with the trick attack just to riposte with an even stronger attack
Wow, a recent video about bloodborne. Started it a month ago and love it. You know what's funny. So far, I've been more or less following your footsteps. My first walkthrough was one with saw cleaver. Not only but like 90% he the time. Ng+ now I use only moonlight sword. And guess what. After watching the video, I've decided to do a walkthrough with every single weapon too.
this is the hardest challenge i see in bloodborne beating the game 26 times is not easy at all. Congrats, and i am really hyped for the next challenge in the stream Edit: my favorite weapon is moonlight
This video was really cool. I have yet to try any of the weapons beyond the whip, burial blade, and stake driver, so I’m going to have to try out some of the others.
Simon's bowblade is not talked about a lot in most of the gaming groups im in when discussing Bloodborne and it's a shame. It's my personal fave trick weapon and the first weapon that helped me get the rakuyo from that fvcking well for the first time.
Idk why but i find it funny that you showed and explained how beasts have strong arcane res but when you showed the moonlight sword rom fight you werent tricked
I completely understand why you didn’t use music box to fully appreciate the fights with each weapon but it made me laugh because I that same justification to not use magic because I want the “full experience” of fighting the boss 😂 Also thank you for putting yourself through this for us
Just hopping in here to rave about the Beast Cutter. I personally feel like it is largely carried by the ranged attacks and I almost never used the Club form. The sheer range, stagger potential and ability to control human sized enemies reliably is incredible especially when you are bad at/don't use guns for parrying. Although it doesn't have the best numbers for anything in terms of damage it stands alone quite well and allows you to attack into a lot of things that seem difficult with safety once you are familiar with bosses patterns as you'll simply hit them while they miss. Even bosses which seem oppressively fast for it's moveset are actually pretty doable if you are flexible with which attacks you prioritize.
