@Ethan Haesloop it's more fun to play their games when online is active imo. Idc about duels since dueling is cancer in bb, but i just love getting invaded every few seconds. Makes the world feel more alive. Some maps have an enemy called bell ringing woman, as long as you're playing online, people can invade you, even if you don't summon for help
It’s another surge of greatness of the game. Remember when everyone had mixed feelings of this game then everyone fell in love by the time it’s DLC released, then silence, then another wave of love, then silence and now ANOTHER wave. It was left behind kinda rudely, it’s concept, lore, world and weapons are all perfect. All the game needs is more or a sequel.
The only reason I can think of is that they are going to 'remaster' it and resell it for maybe 60 or 40 bucks because it makes no sense to leave such a masterpiece unfinished while almost every last gen games are getting free performance boost just by running on ps5.
The only issue I have with this theory is that they never have bloodborne a ps4 pro patch. I doubt they’ve had a remaster planned for all that time. I think they just forget about their legacy titles where dark souls 3 was still their current title when pro came out
@@alexadelaide I'm not sure about that. They did release a remaster of Dark Souls after all (even though they put minimal effort into it and it should have been a free patch). Demon's Souls remake being a thing, we might see a Bloodborne remaster or remake in a few years. Though I would really prefer if they just patched it for 60 fps.
Didn’t Miyazaki say that “Bloodborne is his favorite and most complete title, he only wishes he could fix the weapon gems and chalis dungeons”. And this is best opportunity to do so. It’s getting rereleased for PS5, most people who play demon’s souls remake are gonna try this out, and sony will probably advertise the shit out of it.
my only guess is they gotta be remastering it. fixing chalice dungeons isn't something I can see them doing in just an update. there are rumors floating about that Bluepoint was also working with FromSoft on a BB remaster so, maybe it's true, who knows
Really, can’t believe Bloodborne will be left ‘as is’ for PS5. Had specifically put off a play through again waiting for the ‘updated’ version. Very lame
The PS4 Pro offered no fps improvement. Not a shocker PS5 wont either. I was told that a lot of the animations are tied to framerate and that the mod that makes it 60fps makes the game wonky. It seems they would have to really go under the hood to fix this and it isn't worth their time. Best hope is the rumors of Bloodborne Remaster are true. they were leaked at the same time Demon's Souls was leaked and that turned out true, so one can only hope.
@Jinxed Swashbuckler Because the remaster was a remaster. When Prepare to Die edition was ported to PC it was capped at 30 as well until modders got ahold of it. From there onwards thanks to not being exclusive and going to PC - DS2, DS3, Sekiro, all released to pc and capable of 60fps. BB is the outlier seeing as it is PS4 only. So again, best hope is for a Remaster someday. Or the ever-rumored Bloodborne PC port actually happens. I've stopped holding my breath for that.
This was one of my absolute favorite game of all time. I wasn’t the best at the game, but I could at least hold my own. The Beast Cutter was such an awesome weapon.
My guess is that there's some sort of remastered edition coming out for BB similar to dark souls remastered. Most likely a cash grab. Disappointing to say the least.
Yeah, enough of these cash grab remasters. Just give us a new souls game or bloodborne 2. There is a huge community that wants a "new" souls game and From apparently doesn't need our money. Check that, they can just get it from poorly done remakes.
Japanese devs have a tendency to link game functions to framerate, as they don't develop for PC as much as western devs. PC games can't be sure of your hardware, so framerate is so variable that they don't link game functions to framerate. For example, the clock in Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask is linked to the framerate. Running the game at 60fps in an emulator literally doubles the passage of time, nearly ruining the game. I'm sure we all remember i-frames being ruined with high fps in Dark Souls 2. So it isn't just a case of "just unlock the framerate" with Bloodborne. But Lance did show us you can make a few changes to account for the increase. It's sad we may have to mod our ps4s just to have 60fps BB. This feels exactly like the situation with Nintendo and Mario 64. Those of us with modded switches get mario 64 at 60 fps, widescreen, cheat menu, new textures, new mario model etc. But 3D allstars is so behind what the modding community offers.
I think Sony might launch a definitive edition for ps5 separately or provide a patch (like it did with Sekiro, Days Gone) to make Bloodborne run at 60 FPS
PVPSkills, I love your channel so much and missed your editing. Is there any chance you can cover the Champion's Ashes mod? It's a pvp overhaul for dark souls 3 and reworks many weapons, along with adding the bloodborne weapons and guns in full functionality. It would be amazing to see your uploads again.
It’s also upsetting that dark souls 3 never had it’s framerate unlocked on the Xbox copy. So the new Xbox can’t run it in 60 fps because they never got the mid gen patch like Sony.
Would love it if you continued that playthrough. My save is still sitting there waiting for you to continue. But yeah, it is disappointing that they didn't patch the game, either there is a remaster or they are working on BB2, I hope.
bloodborne has a huge potential for a new game or at least a new DLC, but that's far away knowing that they didnt even bother to update a patch for BB to run at 60 fps such a shame. Totally agreed bro.
This game has a total of 39 bosses. Boss designs can take forever. Hermen Hulst of Guerrilla Games' said it took them 5 years to make the enemy Thunderjaw and a lot of From's bosses are as detailed or if not more since they also have deep lore connected to them like Ludwig so obviously we're not getting a DLC with new areas any time soon. Also you need to realize BB's DLC already existed even back when the game first released, just for marketing purposes they didn't release the DLC right away. It was actually possible to access some stuff from the DLC but then From patched it. It's also not up to them to decide if they wanna update it to 60FPS, that's actually Sony's fault. They just want people to concentrate on Demon's Souls for now. Miyazaki is also currently working on Elden Rings. From would've had it updated years ago if they wanted to, kinda like DS3 got an update on PS4 Pro for a 60FPS patch
Skillz it’s not FROMs game it’s up to Sony and Sony wants everyone to focus on Demon’s Souls.... but if RU-vidrs keep making videos I really do think that Japan studios can do a patch for Bloodborne.
I think it would be Sony's decision, right? Miyazaki has already said that things to do with Bloodborne such as sequels and stuff related are under Sony's jurisdiction.
Most of the blame should go to the publisher (And the owner of the IP). The publisher is the one who choose what to do regarding EVERYTHING with the IP. UPDATES, DLC, etc..
I'd love to see you do a Sekiro video. Maybe just a general overview of your thought on the game and what you think makes it successful or unique compared to fromsofts other games
Who knows? Maybe they'll remake Bloodborne one day, not that it needs it, but it would be pretty crazy if they did..how amazing would it be to see all that blood splattered on the wall, or on your character.
@Kenji Polk Audio that would be nice. There might be mods to unlock it on pc but it would ruin the s of rolling and backstepping. So they should just update it. But I doubt they would be bothered
DS2 PvP is so great because Parry is not as overpowered there. Its great when you can attack and don't feel like you are putting yourself at huge disadvantage.
Bloodborne was my first entry ever to the Souls series, and it's definitely why I carried on to play the other games by Fromsoftware. One of the main reasons I'm getting a PS5 is playing this game on new-gen settings and all!
I don’t know if this was said but FromSoft came out and said it’s on Sony to commission any changes. It’s not solely on FromSoft’s shoulders. At least that’s what I heard from my Uncle who works at Nintendo.
I’m so glad this dude is back!! I feel like since Miyazaki has been in charge they have neglected most of the games or are completely ignoring what the fans want... Look at Elden Ring... no news or any new information... The fans are constantly asking them to communicate but they never do...
It might be something have to do with a publisher as well. I mean, DS remaster is a prime example, instead of removing old version completely they could just bundle it with remaster, but now a lot of people with older pc/laptops and who can't afford new one (such as me) can't legally play DS.
There seems to be some misconceptions here. Bloodborne isn't being re-released on PS5. It's playable via backwards compatibility. The reason that DS3 is 60fps on PS5 is because it received a patch for PS4Pro (since that released near the same time) that unlocked the framerate, it manages to reach 60fps because of this, in other words, From Software didn't actually update the game for PS5. Bloodborne released way before the PS4Pro so it never got a patch to have its framerate unlocked, that's why it's still 30fps.

The problem isn't from soft (when it comes to bloodborne atleast) since its owned by Sony and therefore they require permission from them. Why Sony hasn't even capitilised on this game tho is actually baffling. Possibly one of the most unique games there is and a really enjoyable one too and as you have said, with so, so much potential. I'm disappointed in Sony with this.
@@__-gf3zn I would say the idea they abandoned it is a little extreme. The project was only just announced a year ago and frankly I'd be happy for them to take their time on Elden Ring. We did somehow get DS2, Bloodborne, and DS3 all back to back and all were good if not great, but it's honestly a miracle things went as smoothly as they did and I'd rather Fromsoft not force employee crunch to keep churning out these ambitious titles so quickly. Bigger studios have died from managing that many projects at once - I think From has earned our trust in waiting for the good stuff.
I don't know nothing about from software just discovered bloodborne month ago and it was literally amazing, wanted to ask to somebody who is really tuned with from software if there's a possibility to have bloodborne 2 cuz I NEED more stories about Yharnam and the world from Bloodborne and never expected for a second part of something so hard like I am for this game 😅
