Exactly what this game needed. The original was a ton of fun, but you burned through all the bosses quickly and saw the same card and scenarios after a few games. This busts the concept wide open.
Very true. I've really enjoyed having the expansion bosses come up in the last games we have played and adding the death tokens typically makes getting blood echoes that much more important. Very fun game now.
Plus death wasn't that punishing, i used to kill my teamate a lot with the molotov to get the last echoes but the only penalty they suffered was to not having any trophy

That's fair. Think the sleeves made the cards look a little more washed out than I would like. I sometimes make how to play if the video is for a lesser known game, but that's about it.

Yes, if you choose to use them you hand everyone 2 runes randomly and then they choose 1 to keep. I typically don't use them. I find them an interesting diversion, but the game feels better without them in my opinion. I like that they feel optional though and do not have to be integrated at all if you so choose.
