Music video by Tokio Myers performing Bloodstream (Live with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from The Classic BRIT Awards 2018). (C) 2018 Simco Limited vevo.ly/f49SBU
As far as I'm concerned, anyone who could play the piano when they were young doesn't exactly rise from nothing - I'd have killed to even have a toy piano back then.
Dude, from a TV talent show with 1 piano & 1 sampler to playing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on a piano & surrounded by percussion instruments? Well fucking played. Great job man
Ajit More no lmao. He didn’t create those songs, he just mixed them together with a great personal taste. Clair de lune was made in 1890, 128 years ago, based on a poem also named Clair de lune written in 1869.
@@ellamcphillamy6866 it's an art form he has created. people may say he's a prodigy others may think otherwise but we can all come together to an agreement that he has a lot of talent.
Someone had asked why he didn't post more music. This type of creativity takes a while to pull together. It's not like a pop song. I think he's going to go very far and I still really enjoy his work. It's a nice blessing at 3:30 in the morning when you can't sleep.
Joe Flores u poor dear...but at least we have the same incoherent great music thoughts at ridiculous times of day. Time for coffee and see what part of the world has blown up..and mail my absentee ballot in today...Peace...Gail
This is true. Some people create faster works, whether it be a song or a design, because they usually study the "mainstream" elements that are pleasing for the general listeners. Tokio has his own style and an unpredictable process that you do not learn anywhere in school.
He is so incredibly talented. I’m glad he won BGT and now has the opportunity to showcase his talents with the world. Thank you Tokio for sharing your beautiful gift! 🎹💝
Yes, because closing your eyes while playing is synonymous with feeling said-music within your bowels and not simply a way to make a performance look solemn. This is true, now and forever.
Not just the music, his involvement and dedication he has towards his music, clearly visible on his face and every move, is an inspiration. Love you Tokio. Stay awesome my man
This kind of passion can bring nations together. As human beings music bonds us together and this is simply amazing! I can never get tired of this... 🔥
What a unique bridge between classical, pop and his original (Myers) blend of instrumental & vocal. Confident and poised , sharing his artistry with us!!! Thank you, Mr. Morgan, for bringing into the light Tokyo's talent, he is exceptional! 😇🤗💃
To be able to bare your soul the way you do when you perform and still have anything left is a true gift from the source.....go strong and brave in the knowledge you are doing as your soul needs to be enlightened and leave an indelible mark on humanity.
Am I crazy? I feel like I am being hypnotized every fucking time I listen to his songs. His music keeps sucking me in....and its in a really weird way. I thought I would not like this kind of music but there is something about it.... Something that is just..... well I cant explain it lol. OMG genius!
I am so glad to see this guy grow up and get to be known. I first saw him in Got talent audition and now he is making concerts with the orchestra. Amazing !!
My emotions were running wild! My hearts pumping from the intro But slowing down.... Only to pick up again!!! this is hella mind blowing 🙌🏽 where has he been all my life!! Absolutely amazing.
It's amazing watching a musician when he has the audience. They're under his spell under his control in those short few minutes we get a glimpse of his world through his music.
It’s because Tokio plays by using his emotions.......it’s that that you can hear and feel. Plus you’ve only got to look at his face to see he is completely lost in the sounds and effects he is creating. Genius!
Wow! Amazing. ✨He is superb and inspirational! Absolutely love him playing classic and modern music together. He deserves the world stage. I can listen to his edgy beautiful music even for jogging. Thank you, Tokyo. Love his music❣️
He is incredible! His mind is a symphony and his ability to pull it off genius. His mentor has to be so proud to have never stifled the ideas this young man had.
I just hope and pray his career doesn't end here. I hope he would get deals, records, contract whatever it is to expose him more to the world. This is just divine
The original song is one of my most favorite songs ever, I've been using it as my morning alarm for almost two years. Ed Sheeran is amazing, but Tokio turned this song into something else. I guess this song belongs to him now. Well done!
I love the way he is flying along with the music he is playing, i am fixated with his pure joy and excitment in everything he plays. Well done Tokio, he deserves every bit of Fame and Fortune, good for you, you are an inspiration to other Young Men, and Women. xxx
I'm usually a wordsmith n quite verbose but this person Tokio with his music leaves me speechless What a soulful talent and thanks to Mr Morgan for his ability in knowing soul purpose Congratulations Tokio
Back again. I still can't get over how good Tokio is!! In my dreams will I ever be this good!! Also I'm calling this musical gymnastics. (10/10) He makes it look easy as he is naturally gifted, but this takes extreme practice, strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance.
This Morning, I was waiting for my teacher to come for my piano lesson. I walked into the classroom quietly and gently touched the second to highest "C" note on the piano, then, a janitor came. She told me, "Listen, there is this musician named 'Tokio', like Tokyo - Japan, he is a pianist. I was at an airport and I saw him play in front of so many people; and if you could hear.. the sound, the atmosphere, it was like -.. extra terrestrial, astonishing. Then I listened to the rest of her speech with glee, but a kind of impatient desire to say that I've been playing the piano for 6 years, but kept silent and listened on. My music teacher finally arrived and we listened to the end of her speech, she smiles, then the janitor leaves. Now I reflect on the day and say: That janitor wasn't lying. :/
I doubt you've been playing for 6 years... I've only been playing for 5 and a half (Self studied) and his music is actually pretty simple. They're all 4 chord compostions. I don't hate him though, his music is nice. Obviously inspired by other pieces, but still pleasing.
@@TheReal4th Wow, then if you can do all that put your 4 chords into a sequence or arrangement like almost no one else has ever done, and you too can be a star performing--forgive me, you are not a very good critic. (But I am not knowlegeable of the piano like you--but I do love what he does and have never heard anyone else as good to my ear)
When I watched his audition on BGT, I placed a bet of £100 with my Dad that he would win - and I won... What a superb musician! Unique and inspiring yet so humble... Bless You Tokio!
I love how when he starts to play it’s like he’s in his own world, completely engrossed in and how as he touches the piano you can just tell his in love with it For me, that’s what really captivates me about his performances.
