This is actually a video that was made a couple of months ago that I held off on posting for a while. I figured it'd be a nice one to pull it out for Valentine's day though, so here it is!
(So these were my initial thoughts when I first finished the video a couple months ago.)
Welp, this is my entry for the IC BF#7: Dauiquiri, and I have to say that the process for making this was... a mess. I still had a ton of fun, but I got kind of a late start on the competition and I was busy with other stuff, so I ended up doing so much of this last minute.
But that being said... I love how this turned out! It's the first time I've deviated from the storyline from the original anime. (If you haven't seen Bloom Into You, things are actually reversed. In the anime, the black haired girl had a one sided crush on the pink haired girl.) The storyline that I came up with for this video just came together so naturally, and I really loved what I was able to create.
And as far as the effects go and that side of things, I know I made a lot of mistakes (especially since I'm not used to editing with songs with a fast beat.) So mistakes were made, but I learned a lot from them. I'm just glad that I had so much fun making this and that I'm happy with the results.
I feel like I'm finally figuring out how to make the type of videos that I really want to make, so I'm excited for the future!
