I for one am looking forward to seeing this set: Seeing it fleshed out, played and collected. It's one of the few sets this year that has my attention.

One of the many many things I look forward to in this set is that there are no humans and I love the mutate mechanic.

I have children, so I am happy about this set BUT, I am not happy at all about the price hikes in general. It is still printed cardboard and the cost is redonkulous. Yes, I will buy some, but not running through the fields like Sound of Music. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

I am definitely interested in this set. I liked the fairytale vibe of Wilds of Eldraine. This one, so far, has a very similar feel. I look forward to seeing what else it will be offering! Boomstick!

What’s got my full attention here is «Mitsuhiro Arita» doing artwork in this set. He is an iconic Pokemon illustrator (base set Charizard for example).

I cannot get excited by these reprintables, no matter how hard I try. I CAN and DO appreciate how new releases create FOMO that drags down the prices of my Reserve List targets. ShopSmart!

This set reminds me of An American Tail and An American Tail: Fievel Goes West. I hope they get the IP for it and The Secret of Nimh to expand this plane.

In one of your recent videos I wrote about product overload and speaking with your wallet. This is the only set that I’m planning to buy that I’ve seen for upcoming sets. I’m both excited and anxious about. I really hope this set is a home run and does well.

so far in bloomburrow all i've seen are a lot of good cards for Commander. Nothing that's gonna shake up standard .... yet.

I was sitting on a stack of Surrak and Goreclaw from buylists over the past year, that card has all of a sudden hit 8.00 on TCGDirect and my stack is gone. The card has been slowly moving upwards the last month but all mine flew out after the spoilers.

Bloomburrow is being brought to us by the team that brought us Lorwyn. I am more bullish on Bloomburrow than I am on Lord of the Rings. Bloomburrow is everything Lorcana wishes it was. It's the mouse hero we need. I will be extremely disappointed if we do not get at least some art by Omar Rayyan in Bloomburrow. No disrespect to David Petersen. Congrats on your first card! Mabel looks awesome!! I just hope that Omar Rayyan has at least a few cards in Bloomburrow.

As someone new to the game this year, I was not really into MKM but this set, I am. It's very kawaii, cottagecore, and like you said a little dnd. I love the darker images in other sets but there is just something very sweet about the art and totally hits my 1980s child cartoon love.

I like how your listed inspirations included all things anthropomorphic except the one that is most clearly responsible, Redwall.

Provided the card design is decent enough -regardless of the format-, this will be a a very sucessful set. They've got the nostalgia component, they are actually developing the IP and introducing a new world and characters, it appeals to a wider audience, it's something players can share with their kids, it's whimsical and fresh... I got myself the mutant Fallout deck, and Bloomburrow is definitely the only other interesting-looking product this year. If it lives up to the expectations, I'll probably go for a commander deck and a booster box at least.

I dunno... "Cute" is more of a repellent than a buzzword that gets me excited lol. I'm not writing it off or anything. At least not until I know just how cute we're talking. It could have benefits I guess. Like a board wipe may go over better if it's a really adorable board wipe. Or maybe a classic "must kill immediately" commander wouldn't be as much of a target if it was just the cutest little thing ever! lol

Bit too cute for me. I'm looking forward to Duskmourn the most. A horror movie set is right up my street. Bloomburrow will be a huge seller though, especially the commander decks.

I’m am SUPER excited for this release!!! It has so much going for it and it makes me even less interested in Karlov & Thunder Junction when I see what a Magic set can be! This is the first set in the last 2 or 3 years that I’m considering buying a booster box. Pure Awesome. BOOMSTICK! 👍🏼

It certainly has more appeal to it than MH3 because of that dumb pricing they forced onto the set. Plus the adventure-theme on the cards is a good thing to see as you mentioned. Give us some good fantasy setting, we can imagine the rest.

This set is bringing me back to MTG after 15 years since I last dipped my toes into the game. I'm excited.

You put into words everything I’m feeling about Bloomburrow. I’m going to be honest, I haven’t realistically played MTG since slivers were introduced in Tempest. That’s the timeframe I’m looking at. I’ve always wanted to make a return, but with college, marriage, kids and everything that’s happened since 1997-2001, it was never the right time. With Bloomburrow, I can get there. My oldest is 11, the perfect age to start grasping MTG strategy. We tried to get into Lorcana, but the FOMO gouging killed my interest immediately. This looks amazing and approachable. I’ve preordered everything I can, save for a play booster box, which I may get from my LGS when they open preorders. I couldn’t be more excited to jump in. Bloomburrow is so representative of my childhood. The artwork and theme is so, so good.

Ive been brewing bria with a those prowess eske, flying, red and blue creatures, mercurial geist, sprite dragon, wee dragonauts. But also cards like haughty djinn, enigma dragon, to give me more late game threats. Damage doublers, and of course cantrips and counterspells. So far it's putting up a good fight against my totally busted squirrel deck. The unblockable really shines but all the flying keeps the deck relevant when i cannot keep bria in play. Only issue is red and blue can't deal with enchantments very well.

Mox man, that is a character from Redwall! Martin the warrior mouse from Redwall Abbey, legandary swords mouse! Its been 25/30 yrs since i read it but this set has many of the charcters from redwall

When I first read about the future sets I was the least impresses with Bloomburrow but that changed since the previews. Now it is the only set I'm looking forward to.

I was excited for this set when it was first announced I love rabbits so I really hoped this set would bring more rabbits to MTG

It makes me want to make a commander decks of rabbits. Thinking of how to make it "Lennies dream" from Of Mice and Men. "Tell us how it's gonna be, bout how I get to tend the rabbits...bout the house and the acres, and the rabbits in winter, and the garden, and how I get to tend the rabbits" Vorthos and powerful enough to hold its own.

I've been in a mood for Westerns lately since OTJ is coming soon, so the other night I watched High Plains Drifter on Netflix. That classic movie doesn't have a bunch of special effects and probably didn't have a huge budget back when it was created, but it's great. It had a decent story, a great actor - Clint Eastwood, some attractive women for Clint to roll around the hay with, a dash of intrigue, and a whole lot of whoop ass. You know what? It was better than most of the movies that come out today from the big name studios. I think I'm just going to go back to watching and reading the old stuff. The new stuff sucks.

This set is so cute and exciting looking, I might just learn how to build a deck and play! My partner loves MTG and I have been looking at different sets so I can surprise him. If anyone has opinions on whether or not it’s a good idea to start with something like this or if there’s a better beginner-friendly set to build, I’m all ears!

I wish Drizzt had a design like Mabel. Create twinkle and icing death equipment tokens. Or at least let him search hand/library/graveyard for those equipment cards and attach to drizztwhen he comes into play.

I think this is creating hype to certain kinds of players, but not everyone. Same as Assassins Creed, Fallout and Modern Horizons 3, each one to their own demographic. These will sell, but I’m not sure if this will be the set of the year, so to speak.

I totally agree that they need to explore new worlds. It also offers them the ability to make new cards that can feed the future reprint market instead of constantly farming old cards and destroying value.

I hope my son loves magic. He 3...lol hopefully magic doesn't crash and burn by then.

Even though BloomBurrow will be a basic set, it all depends on the price point. If it's decent I may buy a booster box or two and pre-release kits. I have 2 LGS that have very good prices. The Commander deck prices are a bit high considering I only paid $32.00 for each Commander deck from Wilds and Ixalan. The Collectors booster box is so overpriced!!! It looks like a really cool set but I have learned my lesson about the "HYPE." My oldest son thinks MH3 will be a very powerful set but I doubt I will buy any at those ridiculous prices just like Dominaria Remastered, Ravnica Remastered, and Commander Masters. By the way, my oldest son went to the Chicago Magic Con and while he had a good time, it was poorly run, disorganized, and a lot of people are demanding their money refunded back. Thank you for the video Mox Man. Shop Smart, Shop S-Mart. Lumra is a good card. Can I bring all of my Fetch Lands back into play to use again? Bria's ability to make one of my creatures "can't be blocked" is very good. I like Byrke. Attacking creatures I control gets double the counters on it is insane. The Wilds of Eldraine enchantments will help out a lot with this card. I like that Equipment token you get when Mabel comes into play. Blinging er back into play would be good. I took my oldest son and daughter to see all of those 80s cartoons.

First, I strictly play Commander. I thought this was a Secret Lair, not a full set. The few cards that have been spoiled are nice and flavorful so hopefully the rest of the set is as well. My biggest issue is they release WAY TOO MANY Commander precons. I agree with you on your previous video that Modern Horizon 3 is not a place for Commander precons. This set seems like it could, and hopefully will, have some nice flavors like the Fallout precons.

It's nice to get away from WotC's core planeswalkers and just get a completely fresh setting. I stopped playing around 2018 and I'm just now starting to get back into commander, and even with Universes Beyond, I don't feel I've missed anything since we're still getting Jace & Co. in basically all the sets.

Hello, a Pokemon TCG Player and collector here... That Set catch my interest! The Story telling by the Artworks which are reveal are sweet. I love it and i'm going to buy some stuff of that set! Trying to play mtg too, i guess... But most other sets i see are pretty... uninteresting for me. That didnt catch me and seems like almost "the same" as a non-mtg Player. And i almost wonder why sets wont cost the same? like this "commander masters" totally over prized oder that coming modern horizon 3?

I want nothing like Nimh/Watership/Rescue Rangers. I’m glad there’s no humans and they’re avoiding “look at the thimble as a helmet” gimmicks. It’s very over-hyped though, people are losing their mind over cuteness and the disappointment is almost inevitable.

I'm a simple man. I like theme and tribal decks. That being said, I feel there is a giant lack of bear or even beast tribal. I'm hoping there are more bears in bloomburrow or even going forward. Edit: Where's my main man Garruk at?

I know people aren't going to like Bloomburrow, just like some won't like Thunder Junction or Duskmourn... Everyone likes their own flavor.. and I'm all in on it for a lot of reasons, mainly it is new and it is reaching out to a whole new audience.

There's no problem going back to an existing world. You need to make it interesting (so not a wedding or a murder)

It's amazing how everyone has already moved on to Bloomburrow coming out in August when Murders only came out about 2 weeks ago, Thunder Junction is still looming, ModHorizons 3 is scaring our wallets dry and Fallout is just unattainable.
