I fully realize that these sorts of things don't actually end up "on the editors floor" (ya know...like 'old-school' film editing....), but it IS fun to see what kinds of issues you have to go through to achieve that 'perfect take' for your final product. Joe, do a video about the "pimple" or "mima" mounds. They are circular, ~1m high and 5-10m radius mounds, found in and around river valleys and prairies from Arkansas-Texas up to Saskatchewan, and across the Rockies to the Pacific NW. There are tens of millions, they vary in spatial and temporal distribution, sometimes in some very peculiar patterns. They're found right up to the Mississippi River, but none are found east of it. There's some interesting history tied in as well. Theories abound but there's nothing conclusive.
