I am also using Rightstart B with my daughter this year. Did you know they have videos on RU-vid, kind of like a teacher guide? I watch the level B playlist and lesson overview before we start the school week and it really has been helpful. Just wanted to share. Thanks for this video too. We love literature based curriculum.

Blossom and Root is wonderful! We use level 4 it's a good middle ground for both my kids. I would suggest looking at the booklists and samples on the website to really see if you can find one level that works for both kids. I use a simple spelling and grammar book for both my kids grade level, but honestly I believe they still get all they need from the level 4.
