Thank you so much for recommending this! "Tired arms" means something a little different to me, as I have a chronic condition called myasthenia gravis, so most things cause me to become tired. I have really curly hair so it's almost impossible to blow dry my hair without enlisting the help of my roommate (or even boyfriend). I got this product and I can finally dry my hair again - which is actually very important guys! So thank you so much!
When I saw this video I also wanted the turning brush hairdrier. My hubby surprized me with one a month ago and I haven't looked back. I live in a part of South Africa with humid summers and battle to tame my natural wavy hair and frizzzzzzzz and at home I just don't get the hair salon's smooth and silky blow drying effect. But this turning brush hairdrier is my life saver. I just love it! I enjoy your video's!
So... I immediately went and bought one of these after your recommendation and OH MY GOD... it is incredible, I think I love it more than my husband, I have painful arthritis in my wrist and I could never style my hair anymore but with this baby I can hold it with two hands and style away!! I love love love love love this, thanks so much for the recommendation! Oh and I have ordered one for my mum too... everyone needs this in their lives.
As soon as I get my next Ulta coupon I will be racing to get this. I have THICK COARSE hair that really needs to be blow dried with a round brush to look half way presentable, but I just have absolutely no talent for it. I will do anything to avoid round brushing my hair. This may be the answer, finally! Thanks for the review.
omg this is like the sender to my prayers my stylist always sets my hair with the round brush like this and I've tried it a million times but I have never been able to do it, I think I will have to try this out thank you for reviewing this product love always
You are so........ I don't know, so REAL! Your video honestly made me feel like I was just talking to one of my female friends! You are awesome, and keep up the great videos! :)
I stumbled upon your channel a little while ago and WOW do I love it! The fact that you have curly red hair (LIKE MINE) is awesome for me. Most of the RU-vid Gurus are blonde or brunette and their coloring is way off for me. You are my new "go to channel" for everything from trying to straighten my hair to the "no makeup, makeup" look. So very glad I came across your channel!! xoxo
This is a great invention. I have curly hair and when I would blow dry my hair straight, my arms would just feel like they weighed 100 pounds each by the time I was finished...thanks so much, I love it!
I don't know why it took me so long to get one of these, especially when you recommended it. I, too, have a lot of curly hair and hate blowing it out! Once I got the hang of it, I was able to do my hair in no time at all! I can also create different types of waves and did not have to smooth fly-a ways with a curling iron. Thank you Z!
Melanie Saldana YAY! You are most welcome, Melanie! :D That's WONDERFUL! It literally makes you look like you stepped out of a salon EVERY time, love it! :D xoxo!
I have fine hair but a lot of it! It's wavy/curly and a pain. I usually put a curling mousse in it and just let it air dry everyday but it's SO boring. I HATE hair drying because my hair just does not look right afterwards. I'm considering this!!
Omg this.brush is seriously on point .. I've been straighten my hair for over 3 years plus with all the bleach and chemicals that I have been using for over 10 years literally took its turning point for the worst last October.. I got my hair bleached at Ulta salon for 200 + dollars..When I left I noticed how gummy and elastic my hair was ...little by little the ends started breaking off leaving me looking like I had just gotten a bad haircut everyone even asked me when I cut my hair 😫.. it was so.horrible looking that it literally looked like hay.. up until a couple months ago I.decided to use the spin brush that I.purchased almost a year ago.😳 I've never ever felt my hair look and feel this amazing ever before ... 😍 I seriously highly recommend this.
***** I bought it last week and I love it. My hair is shorter on the top and it works great. My bangs are also short and they barely wrap around the barrel but I love the lift it gives them. Thank you so much for recommending this.
I am going to get this ASAP! Lord knows I don't have the time nor skill to straighten my hair without making my hair into a chia pet lol. This looks so easy TY Zabrina and G 😉.
I get such a kick out of you - you crack me up and I just think you are soooo beautiful like I told you before - I have a wee channel but I'm 66 and am living with a terminal kidney disease and lost my hair but bought one of these for my wigs last year and they are amazing - mine is for synthetic hair (oh, I miss my lovely hair but have fun punking up my wigs and belong to the makeup community because I have loved makeup all my life and have met wonderful gals like you - have a great week sweetie (my mum had beautiful thick hair like yours :O) ) xxxxxxSuzy
Aww Suzy HUGS! Sorry to hear you're going through that. Prayers for you! Keep making those videos! Thanks for YOUR support and sweet compliments! xoxo!
I've been wanting one of these. This looks the exact same as the Babyliss Big Hair one that I was looking at... literally looks EXACTLY the same, but cheaper. LOL. I may have to give this one a go. Love your videos! Always give such great reviews and you're always SO full of life! It's nearly impossible to be in a bad mood watching one of your videos. LOL.
I've been wanting to try one of these, but couldn't decide which brand. I will definitely try this one. LOVE your video! You are hilarious and so real. I'll let you know how it goes!
I always thought these were a gimmick! Your hair is so thick so if you think this works, it must work! "More room for shoes" lol! Thank you Zebrina :-) ♥ Elle
Awesome review! You have beautiful hair, I’ve had this product for over a year and was a little intimidated to use it as I have curly hair, but now I will definitely try it. Awesome awesome review! Thank you for sharing
Awesome gadget discovery there Z and G! I like how the spin part is optional. I own the Revlon Volumestay Hot Air Styler. I purchased at Ulta for $24.99 with a coupon and I love it!!! Does not spin but does cut down on blow drying time for round brushing! So happy you are finding easy ways to style your new do! Love how much volume and smoothness this Conair brush gives your hair xoxoxo!
Ouu! That's a great one, too! I went and looked it up; how come I am just now finding out about these things?! Haha! They're awesome! And you can't beat $25! MUUUUAAAHHHH! XOXOXO!
Again, love your hair and the end result! How do you clean the bristles and the barrel? One thing to remember is, even though it works like a hair dryer, your hair can't be dripping wet when you use it. Damp hair should be OK. Agree?
I wanted to cry watching this video... thinking about how I RARELY ever straighten my hair anymore because it takes my curly hair TWO HOURS to straighten (I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so that doesn't help). This thing, wow. I would need it to absolutely dry the roots and from this video, I'm not sure it would be able to do that without grabbing more hair. But it did an amazing, quick job. I could try it and use it to get the volume and straightness quickly and go over any imperfections with my straightener in less than 30 minutes! Thank you so much for this video!!!
I just used this, it took longer than I expected, and my arms actually are tired, but that could be about my physical condition. It does give body and smoothness I didn't figure out how to do with my regular blow drier and flat iron. You also need to have your hair about 80% dry to style. I did get some tangles if the hair was too high, coming off the top end. Also, if you miscalculate which direction button you want, backcombing and tangles ensue. Still figuring out how to use it. And I have STRAIGHT hair. So, not entirely the same experience as shown here.
wow i'm actually tempted to grow my hair out to shoulder length again because that worked so well... in my job i have to get up super early so i dont have the time to fuss with my hair too much, it was make up on and gel my hair; my short hair into place... seen as it works so well i may be able to have those super soft waves, feminine hair again.. that is assuming i dont tangle my self up in knots with that curling action there.. it looked really fast ..eek
also, I find it easier to section off my hair with clips.... bottom, first. Then the middle, and then the top. If you section it off, you are able to get the rolling brush closer to the roots and it keeps the roots less frizzy even in humid weather (I live in Louisiana). ;-)
I had to return mine, because it was pulling and stretching my hair. Now I have a lot of fine, straight hair and it would break of from the stretching. I am glad it is working for you. But if you have long fine hair, it might not work for you.
Thanks for the review & tutorial ~ I'm sold and will be on the lookout for an Ulta coupon. My hair's texture is like yours AND I live in New Orleans, so I also battle humidity on a daily basis. Can't wait to try this puppy out. :)
I bought one of these like ten years ago only mines dosent spin i still use it to this day gonna have to update it to this one that spins thanx for the vid...:D
great vid thanx! Now I should get me one of those asap 😊 I also wanted to ask you, wha kind of hair cut do you have? Because my hair is very similar to yours in texture and I love the cut.
Wow! Your hair looks amazing!! I've been looking into getting one now that my hair is shorter, it really looks so beautiful with a blow out. Are you still using this product? Regardless, I'm putting it in my shopping cart :)
In uk this is made by babyliss ..you are right it's amazing..I am going to be in Florida in May ..if I buy one there to use on holiday where can I get the ulta coupon?? Tbh I will buy it anyway it's the best for straightening with zero damage!x
Hi Lucy! You can usually grab the 20% off coupons off of their website (on the front page of it) or if you sign up for their email list, they will email them to you, too. So you're always in the know! Enjoy your trip!! xoxo!
Hey Zebrena! I see that you still are using this tool. it kind of makes me nervous that my hair would get stuck when it twists the hair like that. Has that ever happened? I mean I kind of want to go out at get that.
Hey Nikki! Just used it this morning - haha! :) I will say there's a learning curve with it in the beginning, but there is a reverse button on it, so if you feel like you get tangled in it while you're getting accustomed to it, just hit the reverse button and it will release all your hair. I don't get tangled anymore at all, but the first couple times I used it, it did take some getting used to but it's not like you think where you can't get your hair out of it :) Hope that helps!
Hmmmm. I have very thick....but straight, STRAIGHT hair!! But it has plenty of body and usually holds a style pretty well. Wonder if this would put the curve in my hair that I'm looking for? Any thoughts?
Does anyone know whether this is as good as the Babyliss Big Hair rotating brush that looks identical to this...in terms of how it works as well which is less damaging to the hair? Debating which one to get, and would appreciate some comparisons and recommendations. Thanks.
Kala Dwarakanath Late reply I have a John Freida non rotating brush. The secret is damp hair and do it slowly section by section. It is much faster than blow drying and much smoother and shinier.
Z, how do you think this would work on long hair? I'm afraid mine would get caught because it is pretty long. You make this tool look so dang appealing tho! Haha love the review! xo
Hi! My friend Gianna (who recommended this tool to me) has hair that's past the middle of her back and she loves it! She did say it took a little bit of practice to learn how to maneuver it through the hair, and based on some other reviews I read online, it does take a couple times of use to get the hang of it. I think as long as you're careful with your hair and can exercise some patience, you'd be A-O-K. ;) It seriously cuts blowdrying time in half and you can't beat the final results!
Would you also recommend it to natural curly hair? I have soft hair so it's easy to get it straighten fast. i like big puffy hair and not flat hair. Love your Videos, thank you for all the help. New subscriber from Germany :-)
Absolutely! If you like a lot of volume but don't want to put a lot of effort into creating it, this is the perfect tool for you! :D Thanks for your support, sweetie! xoxo!
Love your video Zabrena :) I also love that hairstyle on you. I am thinking about cutting my long hair to that length./style. what kind of cut is that if I may ask ? layered cut/ so I know what to tell my hairdresser. :) thanks again beautiful ..
Earlier I would have said "YES!" because Gianna has hair that is long like yours, too (and she loves it), but there are some ladies with longer lengths here saying it didn't work for them ... so I can't really say! :( If you do want to try it, check your store's return policy to see if they'll take it back if it doesn't work. I know Ulta is usually pretty good about that. Sorry I couldn't help more!
BeWhoYouAre ***** Hey Girls! I have thick/ full/ naturally wavy hair that is halfway down my back and I am completely obsessed with this dyer! In my experience with using the blow dryer I found that I sectioning off my hair ensures that the dryer hits all my hair and I am able to create a beautiful silky look in half the time! Hope this helps! Xoxo Gianna knitnpaint
It really makes noise like a hair dryer, but I don´t see any air coming out of there.... does anybody have one of those? It feels any air, or how does it really works? I don´t know if getting one of them. please help!
I have one from awhile ago & used it on much longer hair than hers...and liked it. Now I have a much shorter cut so I'm going to start using it again. Yes, air comes out of it like a blow dryer.
